Thursday night is jam night - the best that I've seen.  Mostly acoustic musicians put their spin on covers plus a few originals sprinkled in.  Great talent....no cover and great food and drinks.  The venue is nice and just right for live acoustic music.

So i'm sitting there enjoying a nice cool adult beverage when out of nowhere a (((loud)) horn sounded. Scared the Sh*t out of me! You guessed it... A Red Wing Score!!!!

There are a hundred flat screens to watch the game. I watch parts of the game on every one! Okay...I made that last part up :/

Ciccerellis is waaaaaaay better. Kitchen "closed" at ten, I'm guessing since all of the employees were watching the game. Service is below mediocre and shots were not made right at all... Will not be back... EVER

Just another sports bar franchise ...
We were happy to try out a nearby Chelis and not have the drive downtown or to Dearborn.  Next time we'll skip this location and just go  downtown where we are certain to have a good time.
This location is separate and has no management association with the other 2 Chelis.
We had a problem with our bill, and I am sure than a more professional organization would of handled it better.  The manager on duty never approached our table to help resolve the situation.  The server, who did a great job with our party of 8, was left to handle the problem...which was not even her fault.  After an OK meal, nothing really special about the food, we left not so happy.  Did get a phone call a couple days later and was promised coupons...but never received them.
This Chelis has the TVs and hockey memorabilia about and probably is a good place to watch a Wings game.

As a die-hard Red Wings fan, I really want to love this place, but........  My friend and I went here to lunch, thinking it would be a nice, local change.  The place was DEAD, which can be a good thing, if you're looking for a nice quiet place to talk, but the waitstaff were nowhere to be found.  Finally, a waiter off-handedly showed us to a table and dropped menus on the table.  After a couple minutes, a waitress showed up and asked for our drink orders, and brought them pretty promptly.  However, every time my friend took a couple sips of her pop, the waitress took it away to refill, then brought a pitcher to refill my water......kinda weird.  After several "ignores" she took our order......and the wait began.  We ended up waiting for WAY TOO LONG!  I ordered their signature chicken balls with Thai chili sauce, and was given the stink-eye several times when I refused ranch (really, ranch with Thai chili sauce?) and my friend ordered the lunch special fajita wrap.  The chicken balls were actually delicious, but my friend got the chicken caesar wrap, and asked for a side salad along with her fries.  When we FINALLY got the bill, the side salad ended up costing her more than the chicken wrap.  We also discovered that the waitress had taken our check to the wrong table.

Good food, terrible service.  Maybe it deserves another go during a game....at least people might actually be there.

Don't have tickets to the big game?  Can't watch the game because your cable provider doesn't offer Versus?  It happens.  Head to Cheli's!  This is the best place to watch the game next to Joevision.  They have copious amounts of TV's.  No matter where you sit, you will see the game.   I have watched a few Red Wing's playoff games here and the atmosphere is similar to being at the Joe.  The crowd chants and an air horn sounds after each goal.  It is a lot of fun.  The food is good, too.
