Best place I have been for wings in the greater Eugene area.

    $1 bud light draft
$13 all you can eat wings
$2 for a solid basket of fries, $4 for a huge one

Now don't get me wrong, $13 is some money, but for legitimate all you can eat cooked to order wings by the basket with your choice of sauces from a friendly staff it is not unreasonable. Service was quick, and once they realized I was running through wings like a champ they kept coming back asking if I was ready for a new basket.

The Damn Hot, Hot, Medium, and Spicy BBQ were my favorite (I like my hot wings hot). The Lemon Pepper was my least favorite because it isn't a sauce, just overly salty lemon pepper on dry wings. I haven't had the bonzless, but they looked solid - lightly breaded and to your table hot and fresh.

I mentioned it before, but the service was really great. The ladies in the front room were about business getting people what they needed, making sure your food was good, and cleaning tables as soon as they were open for the next people. Props to the front room staff for for being personable, courteous, and professional for young people working food service.

    I will be back.

The mild sauce is so unique and amazing I crave it on a regular basis. The chicken on the bonelezz tenders is super fresh and moist and never frozen which I love, the fries are skinny and perfect, and they have $1 bud lights. Only downside is the location, I wish there was still one in Eugene as this location is pretty out of the way for us.

    You're killin' me Bonz!

What happened here?  They drove the prices so far up my ass that I don't know if I have indigestion or inflation!  This place used to be all you can eat wings for relatively cheap, $8-9 bucks I believe.  It's now $12.50.  They do still offer the $1 Bud Lights, but my taste for beer has gone beyond that tap.

I decided that a burger sounded pretty decent.  But it wasn't! The trick was on me!  Toast? Why the hell did you put my burger on toast!  I've had burgers on a large, soft piece of texas toast that was grilled nicely.  I've had that.  But really? You're gonna drop some bread in a friggin' toaster and call it good?  No.....no, no, no.  Fries were really greasy and extremely thin.

I can't say I wont be back, because the chicken is good....but this visit was a bit of a shocker.

I'll stick to my wet wings from here on out. But you aint gettin' that third star back till I see some improvements!

First off, I have had better wings. I grew up in Vegas, and Ive traveled alot and tried many wing places, as I love wings.

That being said, I enjoy Bonz! These are the best wings I have had in Oregon. I have had the Bonz and the Bonzlezz ( chicken tenders) I typically have the Bonzlezz now, as they are easier to eat and a better deal in my opinion. Be sure to get them wet though, otherwise you don't get enough sauce and they arent nearly as good.

The staff has always been friendly. The two times we actually ate in the place we did notice that everything was sticky. But, its a wing place not a 5 star establishment. I guess I lower my standards for some places, but it seemed that all staff is clean and groomed, and that the front area, salad bar, and what I could see of the kitchen were very clean and thats what matters. Plus, when you have leftovers, the staff wraps it up very creatively. Put a smile on my face when I went to eat it the next day.

I enjoy the medium and the hot sauce, although the mild has a somewhat fake butter aftertaste. My mouth is on fire after the third or fourth bite though, so I don't care by that point. Love the burn! By far though, my favorite sauce is the spicy BBQ. I usually get this sauce, and a side of the medium or hot sauce too. The Teriyaki is ok, the sweet BBQ is ok. I didn't care for the parmesan garlic, as it wasn't really a sauce. It was just dry wings with some grated parmesan cheese and some garlic powder. I like my Bonz wet.

The only side I have tried is the fries. I do not like fries usually, but I love the fries here. They are thin and delicious. In fact, after trying the fries, I dont want to try the other sides, because I have to have the fries .

Who cares about how they spell things. It is a fun place, and they have some good deals. The waitstaff is great, and the one time I spoke with the owner/manager, he was very nice as well. Go in expecting a wing joint and not expecting an upscale place and dont forget to order it wet!

I really enjoy this location over the old one by the UO campus.
Seating was comfy, decor was more upscale and the waiters/waitress are very friendly!!
We got the unlimited wings for $12.99 and never once did we have to sit and wait for more wings.
    Definitely worth the money!

    Best wings in town!!!!

I am a devoted chicken bonz fan...
traveled to Vegas and could not leave without going to bonz... much different feel there though..

Always must get all you can eat for 13 bucks, good deal but for any higher I will continue to make my own unless my buddy's are in town and need their fix.

Sauces for the most part are good, but beware, Parmesan garlic are HORRIBLE lol. tastes like a naked wing with a small dusting of Parmesan cheese, what is that???

If you could make a sauce I would probably come in more frequently, not that gross crap.

Lemon Pepper is pretty bad also, same concept, naked with lemon pepper on top? gross.

Both BBQ's are very solid along with all the buffalo style, The only type I really order besides I do have a soft spot in my heart for their sweet chili flavor...have to get at least one basket of those each trip.

Teryaki and sweet and sour are decent, just not my cup of tea, but I know a lot of people who like these type.

12 oz bud light for a dollar, what a steal!

Burgers on texas toast are nothing special, tastes like a frozen patty, but please for the love of god! get the bonz! or if your more of the lady type, go with the bonzless,

fries are very good too, shoestring super thin cut.

Please go try Bonz if you have not, be ready to overload on chicken and come out wreaking of fried wings and franks red hot.

When will they get bigger tv's for the games? I can barely see them on the tiny 20 inch tubes! not really accessible for a duck game and the lights get in the way at the booths for watching the games also.

I'm not a fan of hot wings or even chicken wings period. I do however like boneless chicken strips and the like and that's what I get whenever I go to Chicken Bonz. The few times I've been there they have been hot and fresh, same with the fries. I can honestly do without the sauces but the couple I've tried have been good, though nothing exceptional. It remains one of the several places I frequent when I'm in Springfield and is likely to remain so.

I do find it amusing that they have an "Eat more chicken' sign inside considering that's a famous saying for Chick-Fil-A which you won't find in OR.

    What a fun place!
The "Bonz" are really good. They are breaded then fried. I can go either way with my chicken wings, breaded or not, but the hubby likes them this way. They are so good. We got half "Hot" and the other half "Damn Hot". The Damn Hot flavor is not over powering and still really flavorful. Was kindof hoping the Boneless Wings were smaller. They are basically chicken strips.
The spot is cool with arcade games and posters on the walls. The staff is very friendly and they have Pibb at the soda fountain!
    Definitely coming back!

Meh, it's just fried chicken. No big deal. Greasy, batter fried chicken and not that cheap. Nothing of real interest here

This place is ok if you are really hungry and want all you can eat chicken wings. However, I only liked the normal buffalo flavors, all the other flavors were not very good. Especially the lemon pepper where they actually just sprinkle lemon pepper seasoning on top of a dry wing. I have had much better food for the price.

You have every imaginable flavor to choose from. I do miss however their boneless chicken pieces that they did every Thursday. The sandwiches are good as well, but I have to admit, I have only had a bite of the wife's as I only get the wings. Love the spicy barbecue.

Yes, that's right, we like our Bonz. My husband is pretty picky about wings and he always wants to eat here. (Get the Hot.) I get the combo of salad bar + chicken because just eating chicken, fries, and dipping sauce doesn't sit well with me. Our kids like all the food, including the Bonzless (breaded chicken tenders). I had a burger once and it was OK.

Order an adult meal and get a kids meal free -- but it's a tiny kids meal, only enough food for a child about 7 years old or younger.

I can see why some people wouldn't like this place. It's in a strip mall, it's not ultra clean, it's not sophisticated, and it's not gourmet or health food. But it is decent comfort food in decent portions at good prices. It's a place to take the family and just relax in a super casual atmosphere. Way better than fast food for not much more money, and more fun. And where else can you get a Bud Light for $1, pinball, Ducks on the big screen, and a free Dum Dum for dessert? What's not to love?

Is "Bonz" not proper spelling? Really? I'm so glad someone pointed that out because I hadn't noticed. Definitely avoid a restaurant for the way it spellz.

I think this place is only good for unlimited wings. Probably only worth it if you do that. They have a wide selection of sauces you can choose from and the service is great. The sandwich/burgers are okay as well.

[-] I really dislike the fact that they USE STYROFOAM CUPS!!!!!!

I've had better wings, but for unlimited wings, you cannot beat that.

These other yelpers are slandering Chicken Bonz.

You liberal elitez can keep your proper spelling, Chicken Bonz is all about the $1 cups of Bud Light and their "damn hot" wings. Yeah the place is grimey, and the silly "4U2P" sign is upside down, but it's a stinking hot wing eatery not dinner at the Electric Station.

Don't pussy foot around with Teriyaki, ginger snap, or honey bbq. None of them are as good as the hot or "damn hot". Ask for them hotter if you want them, I believe the owner has one recipe called "Level 9 Insanity".

I've never had their burgers but my buddy use to swear by them. They are served on a big piece of sourdough bread and look pretty delicious.

I gave it one less star because once upon a time the all you can eat was $9.95. It's $11.95 now. That and they don't have Soul Caliber anymore.

Note: Wear your grungy clothes, whatever enters this establishment wreaks of Frank's Red Hot for eternity.

Now I remember why I don't go to restaurant who interchange Z's and S's, and especially do so in an inconsistent manner.

I think the only wings I liked were the hot BBQ ones but even then the chicken seemed fatty and bleck even though the sauce probably is pretty okay.

The waiters were pretty nice but were kind of slow in getting the wings out, even though the place was super slow. Yeah, not really into it. Pass.

Wasn't quite sure what to make of this place. Being that once upon a time I worked at a wing shop in Buffalo NY (home of the Buffalo wing), I am very critical of most folks' wings. I tried three types of wings here:

Hot BBQ: best of the thee, decent spicy BBQ flavor, no crappy "liquid smoke" used
Honey BBQ: somewhat flavorless and gross, tasted like tangy corn syrup
Teriyaki: not bad but not great. they would be way better if there was a stronger teriyaki flavor

I did not get a chance to try the "Hot" flavor, but from what I gathered they used the traditional "Red Hot" sauce found in Buffalo hot wings. The all you can eat wings for just $11.95 was a good value (the webpage still says $9.95). The wings seemed to have a light breading/coating of some sort before they were deep fried. Not what I was expecting but it did not bother me at all.

Ok now I'm sorry but I just have a hard time taking any places that have a Z in their name replacing the letter S seriously. BonZ? SideZ? Puuulease. I feel like it something straight out of the movie Idiocracy. I don't know, I just found it exXxtremely annoying if you how what I mean. Also, another non food related gripe I have with this place is the cleanliness. It seemed like damn near everything I touched was sticky! Underneath the table, my chair, the bathroom door, etc. I know this is a wing place but come on. I wonder when the last time they sponged it down? Feels like other than the table tops its been a long while. And no, I didnt go in during a peak time, it was dead in there.

Bottom line: I suppose I may go back again sometime when I have a craving for wings (hot wings or spicy BBQ), but I'm not in a hurry. It really is the best wing place Ive tasted in the Corvallis/Eugene/Springfield area so far.
