Went to experience "Spaghetti Warehouse". Â We were told by the friendly server that they have the rights to the recipes and the logo. Â The environment was perfect for what the place is. Â The salad had pieces of brown slimy yuck. Â The spaghetti was awful, little to no sauce for one of us. Â Infact the what he ordered is normally a white sauce but "voila" this was brown. Â The noodles were not of a natural spaghetti noodle color. Â Some of our group had the butter and warehouse cheese. Â I must ask where is the browned butter and was the cheese on the table in a shaker. Â By the way if you used margarine, it wont brown. Â Â Wow, totally disappointed. Â Who screws up pasta? Â Do they use frozen spaghetti? Â If so, why? Â I entered with no real expectations other than something edible. Â I left embarrased that I did not complain. Â Â I guess I keep up the trek to P-Land for Spaghetti factory. Â Bummer.
Review Source:Two Friends is a new addition, replacing a pub that moved into Eugene proper, I believe. The atmosphere is dark and close, the booths are comfortable and well-worn, the beer is cheap and plentiful, and there is NTN Trivia, which can be fun if you like that sort of thing.
The food is tasty, but they've raised prices since they opened already, and it was moderately priced before. The pizza is tasty as advertised, though I'm not certain of its claim to the best pizza in the universe.
Generally also understaffed, but it could be its youth as an establishment. I'm pretty sure the "Two Friends" are there more or less every hour it's open. Give it a try if you're in the area.
This quaint spot recently opened and is a hidden gem in the complex with Value Village. The pizza was great and the prices were reasonable. The service was excellent and exceptionally friendly as we got to meet the owner, bartender and pizza chef.
Its smaller place but has a great personality. They play great music and offer trivia games.
The beer selection is good and they have various micros as well as a full service bar.
So if you're looking for a place to relax with friends good food and a beer I would highly recommend it.
