Spent one night here as a stopping point on our way to Ashland. Â We were not disappointed in our choice.
This is not luxury accommodations, but is a clean, comfortable, quiet place to spend the night. Â We had a king-size bed, a fridge to keep our cold stuff cold, and microwave so I could heat water for my morning tea. Â As the kids say, winner! Â Our room included a small, private balcony that overlooked some walking trails and a river, in which were floating some genuine Oregon ducks. :--) Â It was lovely place to sit for a spell in the evening, and, on the beautiful summer night we were there, we kept the balcony door open to let in the breeze. Â (Only drawback was, despite our room and all the ones around it being designated as "non-smoking," in the morning, someone in a neighboring room was smoking out on his own balcony and the smell wafted into our room. Â Blech!)
We skipped the complimentary breakfast not because it looked bad (it actually looked just fine), but because we had just spent three nights at another hotel that offered a too-similar breakfast (which we ate each day) and wanted a change of pace.  (We ended up eating at the nearby Studio One Café, which proved to be an awesome choice.)
The front desk staff (actually, the same person was there for both check-in and check-out) was friendly and efficient and the process was quick and easy on both ends.
Were our travels to take us back to Eugene, we would definitely stay here again.
