I just moved to Eugene and was in dire need of some Malai Kofta. I was not disappointed by Evergreen. The sauce had that perfect creamy cashew flavor, and the balls were lovely as well - though there was a taste in them I couldn't place that I didn't care for. I'll be back though, because overall the meal was awesome. I got naan and rice with it for $10 - a great deal. The restaurant was busy for a Sunday night too - always a good sign. I'll try the lunch buffet next and my star rating may have to go up to 5. We'll see...
Review Source:This is the only Indian restaurant I have ever given a bad review. I went for the lunch buffet on Saturday. The food was bland. The chicken in the curry had the texture of boiled meat. I was left with a greasy aftertaste all day. I am sorry but it was just terrible. I am from London, where indian food is a staple, so I have eaten many, indian meals. I have also eaten a great deal of Indian food in the US. this really was the worst. Sorry. Wish I hadn't gone.
