Updating my review to temper my enthusiasm a shade. I realized that my tasty bialy was only tasty if the woman who occasionally calls me (and everyone else) Jellybean [blushes] makes it. The other decidedly less pleasant and discerning employees don't do such a good job and my tasty brunch-snack is only mildly satisfying when from their hands. Sad. The other staff seem more inclined to annoying (in the morning) service gaffe's, too. I generally don't go here anymore, but there was a time - a nice run, when this was a fantastic little spot.
Review Source:Challah is out of this world good. The sandwich toppings seem very fresh. I either opt for an egg salad sandwich or kosher hot dog (the bun is toasted--yay!). A tip: the hot dog condiments are very generously applied, so I have had to tell them to go easy. The potato salad is not good. It is potatoes + mayo (?). That is all. Bland. The people who work there are great. They really hustle. I haven't had to wait more than ten minutes, ever. I wouldn't drive across town to eat here, but it is my go-to lunch spot since I work nearby.
