Went in for the first time ever and was very excited to try it out after reading some of these reviews. Unfortunately the only perk to the trip was the Thai Iced Tea. I was with my husband and mother and out of the 3 of us not 1 enjoyed the meals. I had Fancy Chicken, though the presentation was nice and colorful, the flavor was bland. My Husband and mother both got Pad Kee Mow and the taste was missing from their dishes as well. The waiter was nice enough and the atmosphere  was alright. They could have been having an off day so I'm not giving just 1 star. Meh.. you win some, you lose some.
Review Source:I used to go to Manola's virtually every week for lunch, and don't get me wrong -- the food is pretty good. But after raising their prices (earlier this year, I think?), it just became too expensive for lunch, and I was forced to switch my Thai lunch dollars to Sweet Basil, which has comparable food at slightly lower prices (and is definitely busier at lunch time).
Review Source:YUM. Some of the best Thai food in Eugene. I tend to get it delivered, but they have never left me disappointed. My favorite from them is the Kwiteau Beef soup (which I have no idea how to spell), and I strongly recommend it to anyone. As far as I know, they're the only place in town that serve it (other than Ring of Fire's adaptation of it). I've also had the standards (pad thai, pad see yu, etc), and I have never been disappointed. The waiters and waitresses have always been more than kind. When searching for thai food, this is where I go. But back to the deliveries, they are fast, accurate, and you don't have to go through Pony Express (so the delivery fee isn't outrageous). And if you're a college student they give you deals too (everyone knows the students need those).
