Went in for the first time ever and was very excited to try it out after reading some of these reviews. Unfortunately the only perk to the trip was the Thai Iced Tea. I was with my husband and mother and out of the 3 of us not 1 enjoyed the meals. I had Fancy Chicken, though the presentation was nice and colorful, the flavor was bland. My Husband and mother both got Pad Kee Mow and the taste was missing from their dishes as well. The waiter was nice enough and the atmosphere  was alright. They could have been having an off day so I'm not giving just 1 star. Meh.. you win some, you lose some.

I used to go to Manola's virtually every week for lunch, and don't get me wrong -- the food is pretty good. But after raising their prices (earlier this year, I think?), it just became too expensive for lunch, and I was forced to switch my Thai lunch dollars to Sweet Basil, which has comparable food at slightly lower prices (and is definitely busier at lunch time).

YUM. Some of the best Thai food in Eugene. I tend to get it delivered, but they have never left me disappointed. My favorite from them is the Kwiteau Beef soup (which I have no idea how to spell), and I strongly recommend it to anyone. As far as I know, they're the only place in town that serve it (other than Ring of Fire's adaptation of it). I've also had the standards (pad thai, pad see yu, etc), and I have never been disappointed. The waiters and waitresses have always been more than kind. When searching for thai food, this is where I go. But back to the deliveries, they are fast, accurate, and you don't have to go through Pony Express (so the delivery fee isn't outrageous). And if you're a college student they give you deals too (everyone knows the students need those).

    Pretty tasy,

Tried the pad thai, was very solid for the eugene area.

Also tried the peanut curry, Was very good and they let us get a mix of tofu and tempuh in it, at Thai n noodle they only let you pick one! I would order this again in a heartbeat.

Good service except they sat us next to the only other people in the restuarant.

Giving it a four because the prices were a little higher than cafe aiyara and the food was about the same as theirs.

THAI STYLE FRIED RICE is Regular.
    COCONUT  ISLAND is good.
Should try yellow curry next time.

This is one of those places in town that give Eugene ethnic cuisine the poor reputation it has. At first we thought it odd that the waitress decided to sit us right next to the only other customers in the huge but empty restaurant. It was inconvenient to have to keep our voices down since it was so very quiet, and then I realized after the third table was seated right by us that the waitress wanted to be able to lean against the dish bar and chat with a coworker while keeping an eye on everyone's tables at once. Happy to help, lady.

Can I just say that it's weird to get thai food served over angel hair pasta? I tried it to be adventurous, but the noodles had been poorly drained, so the peanut sauce became all watered down and weak. The carrot slices must have been decorative because they were floppy and unappetizing. My date's green curry was really good, but the chicken in both dishes was mediocre. Next time I will substitute rice for the strange pasta.

The only reason this isn't a 2-star review is that the green curry really was that good.

It probably won't be the best Thai food you'll ever have but it's the best delivery food in Eugene.  Service is great, recommendations are always spot on and the food is very good and they deliver to your home.   If you want to eat elegant meal without leaving the house I highly recommend Manolas!

I'd give them a fifth star if they had yellow curry tofu on the menu. They'll make any of the other curries with tofu, but the yellow ONLY comes with chicken. Weird choice, and disappointing.

That said, when I went last week I had the peanut sauce curry tofu and loved every bite. The table also split an order of salad rolls, which were quite good.

The service leaves lots of room for improvement. There were three of us, and when the server brought out the meals, he only brought utensils for two. Someone had to go bug him in the kitchen to get a third set, and then we realized we didn't have a third serving spoon for rice, so it took two trips. Plus, he vanished completely for about an eon at a time.

Still, it's tasty enough that I've already got plans to go back next week. But that probably has something to do with the fact that it's only about a five minute walk from my workplace.

The best Thai food in Eugene. I go here for all of my birthdays, and special occasions.

Very beautiful surroundings here. I had peanut curry with tofu and veggies. Yum yummy. Just the right amount of spice. Well done!  Worth a repeat here!  I am very happy with meal  and service.

We've always had really good Thai food at Manola's.  They have the usual varity of things and they all taste good.

They also make some pineapple fried rice served in a hollowed-out pineapple, which is fun to order.

    Service is always friendly.

we have only visited once, and that will probably be the only time. the service was painstakingly slow - and it wasn't even busy. the food overall was mediocre but ok. however, my gold standard for good thai food is the tom kha soup, and they failed big time in that area. hopefully we can find a better place in town.

The Pad Thai was average and the decor was dated. There are several Thai places in town and this is the worst I've had in Eugene.

Good food!  I have a food allergy and the owner came out, went over the whole menu with me, gave me a take out menu with circled foods that I can eat including substitutions.  This has been repeated in my 2 returns.  Highly recommend, especially if you have allergies and are sick of people not willing to check on ingredients for you!

Of all the Thai places in Eugene, my husband I and like Manola's best. The food is consistently good, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Their peanut curry can't be beat, and they're the only place in town I know of where you can get a Thai iced tea made with coconut milk, instead of dairy cream.

Our first experience with Manolas was last night and it was OKAY.

I called at 7:45 and asked the guy who answered if my husband could pick up the food at 8:30, on his way home. The guy answered "oh yeah" like there was no timing issues or anything. My husband got there at 8:25 (a few minutes early) and the food hadn't even been started yet and didn't get the food until 8:45. Not that big of a deal, but still I called 45 minutes before it was needed!

Their prices seem like a bit more than other Thai places, such as Ta Ra Rin (which we love), but I could be wrong. We ordered our usual for new Thai places: Pad See Yu and Massaman Curry, along with salad rolls and Thai iced tea. The to go order barely had enough rice for two people. The flavors were good, but fairly different than I have tasted these dishes before. Oh and the curry said on the menu that it was spicy so I didn't bother to ask for a different rating (nor the the guy taking my order ask me what I preferred) and it was not spicy at all.  The salad rolls were different but good. Lots of cabbage in them. And the iced tea was delicious!

Overall I would say it is yummy, but I prefer Ta Ra Rin to this place.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Thai restaurant in what looks like an old Taco Bell or tire store. They have live plants and cut flowers around. They have two pages of vegetarian options in the menu. The fresh rolls were very tasty, and so was my Pad Kee Mao. Everything was very fresh.
