One star is more than The Pour House deserves. Â First impression: home town bar, locals hangout, could be cool.
Well, that is where the endearment ends. Â Our server, "Bo" was friendly at first but after she screwed up our orders (soup instead of salad), which came after the main course, she seemed to stop caring and never came back to our table. Â She never came back to refresh our drinks, yet served the tables around us. Â When the main course arrived (prime rib, green beans and baked potato), the potato and green beans were cold and meat warm.
After being ignored, I actually had to go to the bar to get our check and even then it was a struggle to get "Bo's" attention. Â We left the money on the table and left. Â No tip, no thanks and never again.
Sometime you want a real tavern not a fern bar where the beer is ice cold, the food is down home and the crowd is racous. That would be the PourHouse.
This ain't no bistro! It's a tavern and if you like your drinks strong, the food the way "mama" made it and real people check it out...
