When this Chili's first opened, we were pretty gung-ho about it. Being that the Haute is essentially chain-food hell, it was nice to at least have a new option (although I would prefer the Boston's that previously occupied the space, before we lived here). However, recently we went back and this place has gone downhill fast. The first thing I noticed is that the floors, tables, walls/dividers, seats and fixtures are all FILTHY. Everything is fingerprinty-sticky, and knowing who my fellow Hautians are, I don't wanna touch that sh*t.
Service and food are standard Chili's. I love queso.
But from here on out, we will be strictly carry-out. Blech.
I prefer local to chain, but Chili's is my new favorite place to eat. Â Prices are on the high side, but my food has never been less than fantastic and our service has been great. Â For some reason the kids clean their plates here. Â Three trips, no complaints. Â For me, that is a record.
