Sunrise Family Restaurant

I dropped into Sunrise while in Terre Haute for work. It is a very local and casual joint with a wide range of choices on the menu. If you are looking for something healthy and light, this is not your place. however, if you are looking for good home-style cooking then Sunrise is where it's at! I ordered the patty melt and was 100% satisfied. There was a friendly, local staff who was very welcoming to me as an out-of-towner. Very quaint, quick, and delicious!

This place has a suprisingly diverse menu with incredibly reasonable prices. It is within walking distance of most of the hotels in the area and right off I-70. It's a good place to go if you want to experience the true culture and food styles of rural Indiana.
