Good tofu. Good variety on the menu. Clean dining area. Plenty of vegetarian options. It's not one of those Chinese places where everything looks and tastes the same. They even had a TV playing the Broncos game which pleased the fellows in our group.

This is one of my neighborhood Chinese restaurants, and we're quite impressed so far.  The food has been tasty, fresh, and hot - whether we've had it delivered or picked it up - and the menu is quite expansive and offers not only Chinese, but other Asian flavors (Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese.)  The veggies have been fresh and plentiful, but they are usually not skimping on whatever protein you've orderd for your dish (the exception being the Mongolian Beef, which seemed to contain 2 or 3 whole onions and a small amount of beef - though in fairness, it was tasty!)  Chicken dishes come with all white meat (how nice to not have to specify, and to not incur extra cost for it!)  Delivery is free with a minimum $12 order, and on our most recent order, they even threw in two complimentary egg rolls, which was a nice touch!

Everything I have tried on their menu has been delicious. Cooked just right with the correct amount of spice added. I recommend getting a Beef Pad Thai lunch special... Huge portions for $6, hell yes!

Minus 1 star because the location could be better, it sits behind the vacant Tamarac Square site and it's right next door to an Ace Hardware with their garden center right next to their door..... The smell of fertilizer punches you in the face when you're entering/exiting.

Great place for lunch specials.  Where can you get a hot tea, soup, rice, egg roll and main meal for less than $6?

Five big stars for the great value
    Good friendly service
    Nice clean place

Everytime I m at this part of town, lunch is here!

I am a Chinese food junkie, and know what is good and not.
I am a bit disappointed, though I only had one meal there, but it left me quite frustrated.
The twice cooked pork was not as it should be, though it was fairly good for what it was.  It just wasn't twice cooked as I have had at many other places.
What was most disappointing though was the lunchtime fried rice that comes with the meal. White rice with soy sauce is not fried rice and that is what gets me upset.  If you are going to serve fried rice, put in a little pork, and a little egg, as it should have.
I do not like places that do it on the cheap, and that is the reality of china Beijing.

My husband and I have been fans of China Beijing for since our first visit three years ago. For a Chinese restaurant with a fairly standard menu, their prepared dishes are anything but standard. Vegetables are crisp, not soggy, and still taste like vegetables. Main dishes are not overly seasoned or drenched in sauce, so you can still taste the meat and seafood. (Try the Mongolian Beef dish as an example.) Dishes that are typically greasy at Chinese restaurants, like lo mein noodles and fried rice, never are. They are conservative with salt, too. We love their wonton soup, and always order some when we come down with a cold for the wonderful broth and delicious wontons. The hot and sour soup is full of ingredients, not just a plain broth. They also offer a selection of Thai and Vietnamese dishes and we love the Vietnamese rice noodle bowls for a light and fresh, but filling alternative.

As for the service, we have had nothing but friendly and prompt service. In fact, Nita knows my voice and greets me by name when I call to place an order, even though we order just once a month or so. Delivery can take about 45 minutes, but you just have to plan for that because they cook when it's ordered and make multiple deliveries at once. They are a small family owned restaurant, not a national chain with an army of pimple-faced delivery drivers. If you want it faster, get off your lazy rump and go pick it up.

Pricing? Totally reasonable for the quality and quantity. We have NEVER been charged more than stated in the menu and we always have plenty left over for the next day. It's like getting two meals for the price of one if you're not a glutton. And, when you order the "Complete Dinner" for just an additional $2, you get an egg roll, crab cheese wonton and a generous portion of soup. That's a crazy bargain!

Yes, English is not the native language for the older family members. Be tolerant and be glad there is some cultural authenticity to the establishment. We always prefer to support local small businesses over cookie cutter chains. So, when you've got a hanker'n for straight-up Chinese food (not overpriced Asian/Peruvian Fusion by a celebrity chef in a trendy part of town where jaunty scarves and horn-rimmed glasses are par for the course) give China Beijing a try.

I have been ordering (and occasionally dining in) from this restaurant over the course of 4 years. They have consistently had fresh, crisp veggies in their food, the meats are tender (and usually crisp if breaded) quick delivery, and pretty friendly service. All in all this is a standby for my household.

This place is a short walk from my office, so i pick up one of their lunch specials every once in a while. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and they are generous with the servings. Not great, but not bad, which can be said for the majority of the Chinese food in Denver. A-OK / 3 Stars earned!

The best Chinese restaurant in town. A funny thing happened there yesterday. We were enjoying our food when three inspectors came in. I jokingly said , be kind, Beijing's the best. One of inspectors just grinned and moved to the kitchen. On their way out, he stated that was the cleanest kitchen he has been in!   I have been to 60 different Chinese restaurants in the past ten years. Some, I've really enjoyed, others I would never go back. As for beijing, the quality, consistency, and Passion for their food is second to none.  Some of these reviewers need to go back and see how hard the husband and wife work seven days a week to provide for their family and to bring a great selection to their patrons.  And if anyone gave a good review to pfchang instead of Beijing, you should be banned from anymore opinions. Again, enough with reviews on how the food was when delivered in a Styrofoam box, go to the restaurant, get to know the people. Yes, their English is broken,  but spending time with people is still a preferred communication method. This is my order.  Crab cheese wanton, beef skewers, extra spicy tai spice soup, entree: salt and pepper shrimp, spicy happy family in beef garlic sauce, extra spicy beef pad tai.  I'll mix in egg foo yong, general taos, or sesame chicken when desired. Try this with no disappointments.  Happy eating.

Typical Chinese food, nothing to get excited about. Nice atmosphere, quiet & reasonably priced.

    Eesh why all the hate?

While home in Denver for the week, I questioned my mom's love of this place after perusing the Yelp reviews but picked up the phone to order anyway.

And? Polite staff, prompt delivery and reasonable prices. Say whaaaat? The pork dumplings rocked- thick skin and savory porcine goodness inside for less than $5!

Fried rice wasn't greasy, and the wonton soup was HUGE, cheap and had some kick ass broth. Chicken and snow pea was great along with the veggie lo mein. All of this for under $40? Yes!

The food is ok, prices are average. My husband and I usually order the complete dinner, which is a good deal for all the food. Normally a lady answers who speaks English very well and is easy to communicate with.
Last night we ordered and I was extremely disappointed. First a man answered and could barely understand or speak English. I had to repeat everything I said and ask him to repeat just about everything he said. Then the guy hung up on me! I called back and the lady answered. I went over the order with her, and he had nothing right.
She said the food would be there in 20-30 minutes. We waited over an hour before our food got to us and it was ice cold! I'm not sure about ordering from here again, good prices or not.

It is actually 0 or negative star, since there is no option I had to select 1 star..

We all know that chinese restaurants lack in english as well as politeness....but this is way bad in being polite to customers...They need to know what is a reception means...

More than the food review, I would like to tell about their attitude towards to customers...

You will be made to feel as if you are waiting for some packet free food from helicopter during a flood/disaster...

Also the "I know" attitude is predominant and you know nothing abt chinese food..

Such a rude attitude never seen in any restaurants in US..

    Now about food...very mediocore...

    go at your own risk..

We ordered delivery from this place once and were very disappointed. The food was salty and tasteless and neither of us finished our meals. There's the kind of bad Chinese food that's actually good in its own way--and this wasn't it. It just wasn't very good and wasn't anything special. We are still on the lookout for good delivery Chinese in our area, because this wasn't it.
