The waiter who took our drink order, seated us and rang us up was EXTREMELY rude! Â Didn't say a single word other then "drink" and walked away. Even when she rang us up, she was on the phone while taking my card and swiping it.
The meat was soggy and mushy and reminded me of left over chinese food that has been microwaved.
The "mongolian" grill meat was tough and hard.
Found a large bone piece in my breaded sesame mystery meat.
Paid $11.99 for the Chinese version of Hometown Buffet. Both of which you walk away feeling dirty and trashy from the environment and food.
We will NEVER be going back!
This place is okay for what it's intended to be. Cheap, all you can eat Chinese food. It's not great, but it's not inedible either. I'm not impressed with the sushi, it tastes kind of odd. My husband won't come back here because he swears the whole place smelled like vomit last time he was there. (I haven't personally noticed this) If you're going to go to some $8 buffet type thing, I recommend this one for its variety, Mongolian grill, etc. but the quality is pretty mediocre when compared to non-buffet Chinese restaurants in town.
Review Source:For the most part I enjoyed what they had to offer. Â Food was kept at an acceptable temperature, and was also reasonably fresh.
However, ALL of their sushi had avocado in it, which I don't enjoy on multiple levels. Â Also, though I enjoyed their Mongolian style grill options, if you give them meat to grill for you separately, keep an eye to make sure they actually cook it completely. Â I've gotten back chicken and pork that was still raw in the middle.
Overall I'd say, if you're in the neighborhood, it's a worthwhile place to go. Â Definitely better than the buffet across the street.
