Burrito Bandito

i've eaten here when it was Burrito Bandito and now when it was Los Faroles.  I work across the street so it was a quick place to get a burrito. I have been there a handful of times, each time hoping better than the last. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I was there two times in a row and both times when i ordered a bean and cheese burrito with sour cream, they forgot it. Another time i ordered the same thing and they had the sour cream on one end of the burrito, only. This morning i went there (because Dari Mart was out of burritos) and i got the Super Veggie Burrito. Instead what i got was Chicken, i believe. i was very much annoyed, but thought, "What the heck, i'll eat it anyway." By the time i was into the third bite, the chicken was cold!!!! I will not be going back to that place, ever.

Recently bought by the owners of Los Faroles, of downtown Springfield bus station fame.  Since it was taken over by the Los Faroles folks, they've adopted the same menu as the downtown location, save for a few of the specials.    

I ate here a few times when it was Burrito Bandito, and they served reasonably functional taqueria-style burritos, tacos, tostadas, and such, though it was slightly more expensive than it should've been.  This appears to be the case now as well -- and with the ownership change, expect to see some lower prices and better specials.  

It's a convenient location if you're not looking to brave the Gateway food courts or just looking for a quick on-and-off the freeway fix.

I had heard the owner was a prior owner @ burrito boy, some friends and I decided to give it a try and I was surprised. ( I'm not the biggest fan of  the boy) I was surprised when i took the first bite much more flavor, we decided that we would be back for sure. Plus the inside of the place is much nicer and cleaner.
