i've eaten here when it was Burrito Bandito and now when it was Los Faroles. Â I work across the street so it was a quick place to get a burrito. I have been there a handful of times, each time hoping better than the last. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I was there two times in a row and both times when i ordered a bean and cheese burrito with sour cream, they forgot it. Another time i ordered the same thing and they had the sour cream on one end of the burrito, only. This morning i went there (because Dari Mart was out of burritos) and i got the Super Veggie Burrito. Instead what i got was Chicken, i believe. i was very much annoyed, but thought, "What the heck, i'll eat it anyway." By the time i was into the third bite, the chicken was cold!!!! I will not be going back to that place, ever.
Review Source:Recently bought by the owners of Los Faroles, of downtown Springfield bus station fame. Â Since it was taken over by the Los Faroles folks, they've adopted the same menu as the downtown location, save for a few of the specials. Â Â
I ate here a few times when it was Burrito Bandito, and they served reasonably functional taqueria-style burritos, tacos, tostadas, and such, though it was slightly more expensive than it should've been. Â This appears to be the case now as well -- and with the ownership change, expect to see some lower prices and better specials. Â
It's a convenient location if you're not looking to brave the Gateway food courts or just looking for a quick on-and-off the freeway fix.
I had heard the owner was a prior owner @ burrito boy, some friends and I decided to give it a try and I was surprised. ( I'm not the biggest fan of  the boy) I was surprised when i took the first bite much more flavor, we decided that we would be back for sure. Plus the inside of the place is much nicer and cleaner.
