If I was rating just on food, I would give this place 4 stars.  That being said, the line here was terrible - and evidently typical.  It stretched all the way around the restaurant and I must have waited 20 minutes just to get to where you make your food selection.  I asked an assistant manager if it was always this busy and she said it was.  There was still a line there when I left (albeit slightly shorter) so she is probably right.  It was so busy there that you kind of had to yell to make sure they didn't screw up your order.  One positive - they have brown rice as well as white rice.  I requested brown rice and they got it wrong but I let that one slide.  Towards the end of my preparation though they asked if I wanted guacamole and lettuce and i just wanted guacamole.  They started to reach for the lettuce also and I had to yell at them to stop - they would have been re-making my burrito completely had they done that..  I also had to ask for a basket instead of a bag as I was eating in - they didn't ask me, just started grabbing for a bag (I think most people order to go here for some reason.)  Anyhow, when I got my food and drink cup I was mentally fatigued from the experience, so although the food was quite good and I am a fan of Chipotle's burritos - I don't think I'll visit this location again if I have any kind of choice.

If I could leave zero stars I would!  This is by far the worst Chipotle in the country.  They are 0 for 50 with getting online ordered correct or ready on time.  I ordered 2 chicken bowls online for in-store pick up.  When I returned home with them and opened the bag.  Both burrito bowls did not have chicken!  How is that possible?!  This Chipotle is the WORST!  Avoid it at all costs!

The food was okay,  however I was irritated by the fact that some ingredients I enjoy on my burrito bowl were not yet ready even tho they had been open for 45 minutes!  This location is closer to me but I would rather drive s few more minutes down the street to the oak lawn location.

After hearing raving reviews about the burrito bowl, I went in with a partner and we decided on ordering two bowls for the both of us.

After waiting what seemed like another generation in line behind, to the side of, and in front of yelling patrons, we finally struggled and wedged our way -almost- to the see-thru counter-ish area. We tried to make up our minds in a hurry, but it just did not seem fast enough for the cooks. I ended up repeating myself, LOUDLY numerous times, simply because the people preparing the food could not hear me over everyone else, the loud music, and basically trying to rush us.

Anyways, after enduring the line, we made it to the end of the counter, and a nice lady asked us if we'd like something to drink. Certainly. I'm exhausted now, and I've ended up paying nearly $20 for a headache and a darn good burrito bowl!

Will I come here again? Maybe so. Not on a hot day, not after work, not during lunch. Maybe pop in when they first open or something. There's something about fighting through the crowd for your food that makes you want to just eat later when you get home.

The line in here is always absolutely absurd and they are so slow.  The employees are nice, which is why they get 2 stars, but I HATE going here.  I usually order online ahead of time.  In theory, this would mean I wouldn't have to wait when I get to the register, right? False.  Even if you show up exactly when your order was supposed to be ready you will probably have to wait at least another 10-15 minutes.  Better than waiting in the ridiculous line for 45 minutes, I guess.

Line too long, staff friendly-but more employees need to be scheduled during lunch time, serving size a little skimpy. Won't be back and the owner is really taking advantage of the fact that their establishment is the only one on the city southside. Terrible

LOVE Chipotle but this location is the absolute WORST!!!  If want to wait 30 minutes plus deal with bad attitudes then this is your place.  They need to hire a complete new staff or this business will fail!

Absolutely abysmal customer service.  These idiots ran out of chicken at 3:15 in the afternoon.  Then they want everybody to pass me by why they cook more chicken.  These people are F=^##{ing ignorant.

I enjoy the food, but I agree 100% with the comments about poor service and slowness.  I stopped going there a while ago, because it had reached the point where the wait and the attitude of some of the employees was more than I could tolerate.  I hope the corporate office gets the message and works to improve the situation.  There are plenty of other places nearby where I can get equal or better food with much better service.

You can get on Space Mountain on New Year's Eve faster than a burrito at this place. Workers are fine, food is typically good, but the wait is complete torture. It amazes me that any large corporation would consider this an acceptable situation. Also, a lot of "special requests" in line slow things down and try my patience. If you do have the sort of mental equilibrium needed to make it to the register, I wouldn't eat there. Again, eating space is fine, but something about the way the line wraps around the dining area makes me feel a bit too on display and agitated.
    Overall, not a relaxing experience.

I recommend peeking in -- if there are fewer than five people ahead of you (rare), go for it, but as take-out only. And careful leaving the lot -- it's very tight.

I try to avoid this particular Chipotle if i can. The line is always ridiculously long, and SLOW. Also, they charge extra for a little more cheese! Really?? wow.. compared to the Chipotle in Rosemont.. this one is at the bottom of the barrel. Plus, the girl who checked me out said "cash rules everything around me, dolla dolla bills y'all" O_o

    She was scary! Yelpers beware...

The day that you have NO Mexicans (Latin Americans???) working in a Mexican restaurant, um...there's a problem!!! I have been in the place before but there is NO reason that at 9pm, the lines are super long and I am being looked at like I'm too blame!!! And the smell was simply ridiculous, I mean are you slaughtering cows/chickens/etc in the back? R u freakin SeriOus!?!?!
I will never, ever go to this place again. Yelpers, enter at your own risk!

How in the world did I forget Chipotle?  Fear not, my Mexican friend, I'm here to give you stellar points.   I usually flip-flop between the 95th street (Beverly) store and the Sheridan Road (Loyola) location.   Chipotle won my heart  a while back when I first tasted their Burrito Bowl.  My personal favorite is the Burrito Bowl consisting of rice, black beans, chicken, fresh salsa, corn, cheese, lettuce and a dollop of sour cream.   The guacamole and chips at Chipotle are unrivaled and just plain good.  Contrary to other reviewers who have issues with the 95th street (Beverly) location, all my experiences have been positive.

The lines were backed up, the food was questionable, the service was not the greatest.  I do enjoy a burrito every now again from Chipotle but not this specific location.  This was a horrible experience.  I want to forewarn all of the people I know to stay away and drive somewhere else to get one.

    Not a real Chipotle experience.

Mexican grill, my olive skinned ass!! This is tex-mex at best!
The service, the tortillas, the seasoning...
    bleh!...

Not cool. Authentic American tex mex crap on a tortilla.

That is all. no more, no less.

I have always been a big fan of all the food at Chipotle.  I have never had a bad experience at any one.  It is one of the few chains that I frequent. I have to admit that I was somewhat dissappointed at this location. The food was tasty and I did get it fast but it did not live up to the high expectations that i have of them.  It tased as if the steak was sitting there for a while and my burrito was not wrapped very tight so it started to fall apart as soon as I started to eat it.  It was still a good meal but not like I am used to having there.
