In town from MN and we do not have a Cici's where I am from. Decided to stop in here and was pleasantly surprised. The manager was extremely nice, and made sure we had a good experience. He took the time to say welcome and goodbye to every customer no matter how busy the restaurant was. Even though it was later in the evening the food was still good and fresh. I noticed my favorite type of pizza was not out, so I asked the manager if they were planning on making any. He said he would put one in the oven and it would be ready in 5 mins. 5 mins later he personally brought out a plate of the pizza for me. Talk about customer service! The brownies are always amazing and are my favorite. They literally melt in your mouth. So far on vacation my family has visited this location twice.
Review Source:Cici's buffet is great for the price and more times than not the pizza is fresh. Yeah they cut down on costs by not putting sauce on all the pizzas but the variety is insane. Mac n Cheese pizza, ham and cheese, BBQ, buffalo chicken. They have stepped it up by having a few deep dish with sauce, and if you dont see your favorite pizza on the line, then just ask and it will be out in 5 minutes. Getting stuffed isnt difficult especially since there is dessert and breadsticks, pasta, salad. You go for the value and the kids love it.
Review Source:At it's heart, CiCi's pizza buffet is fast food pizza. True, it's not the best pie in the area, but it's plentiful and cheap; for the cost of a "value meal" at a fast-food burger joint, you get unlimited salad, soup, pasta, pizza, and dessert.
Arguably the best item on their menu is the apple crumble pizza dessert -- gooey, crunchy, sweet, and cinnamony. The baseline pizza is... well, it's a step up from Totino's baked at home, and on par with Pizza Hut and Little Caesars. Some of the specialty pizza is tasty -- I especially like the buffalo chicken pizza, but spicy hot buffalo sauce isn't for everyone.
The verdict? While there's better pizza out there, in the price point that CiCi's is at, it's as good as you'll find. Great for kids (what kid can resist a pizza buffet?), a good place for cheap pie.
Buffets are tough, so I sympathize. Â It's a real balancing act to keep the offerings unwilted under unrelenting buffet table lights while the house waits for long lines to come in the door. Â Considering that challenge, the $4.99 price from CiCi's for all the pizza, salad, pasta & soup you can eat bought me off, stifling any whine you might have otherwise heard from me. Â Lesson: Â For less of a gamble on food texture, temperature, and age, take your chances with a buffet place somewhere that's not Cici's, and which will take reservations and will plan for known numbers of diners at specific times of service. Â Meanwhile, I can see how Cici's is fun for busloads of kids. Â There's a separate room for video games, as well as wide spaces between easily cleaned tables for groups to rock & roll.
