Beer selection: decent
Decor: recently updated, and much better than what it was before.
Staff: Hit or miss. Â Been here a couple of times now, and you either get someone who knows what they're talking about, can discuss food and beer options...or you get someone who stops dead like rainman counting scattered toothpicks, gets the look of a scared deer in the headlights, and starts hair-twirling as if that will somehow conjure an answer into their heads out of thin air. Â If you have questions about anything, go to the bar. Â That's your best bet.
Food: tried several of the appetizers and a couple sandwiches over the course of a few stops. Â Nothing's been terrible, but nothing's blown my doors off, either.
To be fair, I did not have overly high expectations going in. Â I ordered the chicken and dumpling soup, broasted chicken and mashed potatoes. Â The soup was most likely from a can. Â While I ordered two pieces of chicken, only one piece had meat on its bones. Â The mashed potatoes initially had gravy on it, which was not a huge deal. Â I mentioned the mistake to my waitress who came back with a non-gravy plate. Â When I tried to eat the new mashed potatoes, they were literally cold to the touch. Â Moreover, our waitress did not seem to know how to react half of the time. Â I assure you, I could not have been nicer in terms of addressing my concerns; however, she seemed overly unapologetic. Â
I would not go back for the food ever again. Â Poor value, below average service.
Ordered shepherd pie, gravy super salty from can, meat ground from their burger meat, veggies had no taste, and mashed potatoes from box. Not good. Had sliders, tough meat. Beer was ok. First time there, bad impression of food, bad impression of staff. Food needs work. One waitress was brushing her hair with her hands then taking the food, other was eating fries at bar area. Place needs work, will not go back.
Review Source:Pleasantly surprised, and better than expected. I remember when it was Rosie O'Grady's and a bit of a dive. Looks like they've updated the place a bit. Got the Groupon and arrived during happy hour. Can't beat that! Cheap food and cheap beer. Potato skin appetizer was tasty. Solid fish & chips with really good coleslaw (creamy instead of vinegar).
Review Source:Great bar, and great bar food!
Recently had a Groupon for dinner and drinks for Clancy's. Â My friend and I used it, no problems at all. Â Had great pizza! Way better then I expected. Â Great sauce, well done and there was a lot of pizza for the price. The place also had half price appetizers too, a great variety of differen't selections you could choose from.
Had a lot of fun while I was there, only thing I don't like is that there are no outside windows, makes the place really dark.
This wasn't my first time either. Â The girls who work there are very social and know what their doing behind the bar!
Newly renovated and also a very classy place, they have great food with a huge menu and  awesome prices I haven't had anything that I havent liked so far! good drink specials, and its one hell of a good time I love this place. Great crowd has lots of shooters in here. Great service and nice staff
