I had a real good time at this club granted I only stayed like 2 hours but in that time we had a blast and danced it up and the music was on point here. The drinks were tiny and expensive but its south beach what do you expect? Have some drinks before you come and problem solved. Like all the other clubs there's no where to sit unless your forking over VIP money. Oh also the lines for the bathrooms can get crazy. But all in all I'd come back I mean not every week or anything just when if I had got tickets from a promoter again lol.
Review Source:Club Play?! No way!
Came here while on vacation in Miami since we were invited by a promoter. He said that the club will be playing Top 40 and hip hop that night but NNNOOOOOO!!! It was reggaeton the whole night!
Not hating on reggaeton (I do love the music genre) but don't lie to me!!
Drinks are Expensive!!!
It's really small! Ok! It's not small but basically to have space to dance and chill you have to be part of VIP!
If you're not part of VIP then you have to stay in the bar area which gets pretty crowded and everyone walks there! So be prepared to be bumped into.
Looks like it could potentially be a nice club but the bouncers are rude. The line has no kind of order to it. They let people in basically off who they know or how skimpy you are dressed. When you do finally get inside you find that there are far too many females in there for us ladies that like and wanna see men!!! Overall didnt have a good experience at this club
Review Source:The beautiful place has so much potential. Went here on a Saturday night with my ladies. Had I not gotten in free with VIP passes it would have gotten 2 stars for looks a lone. It is gorgeous but 90% of the space is literally the VIP lol 5% is the bar and the last 5 is the L-shaped hall/[ath/walkway they call the dance floor for regulars. I liked the music. They had a mix of all diff music. If it is true about pricing and you arent getting in free, dont go. If you arent in VIP That really sucks for u lol. I'm sure its still enjoyable, but its funner with more dance space
Review Source:I have mixed feelings about this place. Â We were invited here, put on the guest list, and either someone paid for our admission or were let in free - but I probably wouldn't go back here if someone paid me.
The ambiance is great, but it seemed like everyone was in a bad mood after being made to stand and wait outside while they took people out of order and let them in randomly (probably based upon how you look). Â The place doesn't open until really late and it was freezing cold once we got in. Â The dj played some good music - it wasn't too loud and several of the staff seemed extremely nice.
I wish this place kicked a little earlier and let people in at a more reasonable pace from the start so that we could get the party rolling and enjoy it BEFORE 2 a.m.
They have great lighting, nice decor, the VIP bottle service is pretty fun, although I thought many of the female patrons were better looking with better bodies moreso than the extremely young female staff. Â It's probably a great place for some - just not for me.
This was the first club we went to, it was a Friday night during Labor Day Weekend. My sister's friend works there and invited us to a fashion show event that was going on at midnight. Â We purchased tickets in advance and only needed to show up by 11p to ensure quick and seamless entry...
So we show up at 12a...do I need to go further? SUPER HUGE CROWD, with no actual line, just a bunch of people surrounding the door trying to get in. The girl we were looking for was off work by then and we basically had to work our way in the door. While standing in the crowd, it starts POURING down raining. I was so glad for my choice in attire, because that rain was relentless for a minute. Â One lady that worked there, let us on inside after checking all of our tickets.
Once finally, the atmosphere was nice. The music was on point and it was a large enough place that you could move around and mingle. The drinks were strong and we had a great time.
I came here on a Friday night at about 2am. Â Rude people at the door, but my friend and I got in quickly. Â This place is small (or maybe it is the set up) and almost all of the floor space is "VIP" the rest of the floor space is walkways, so if you are not in a vip area there is nowhere to dance. Â I came to dance! Â
My friend asked a bouncer if we could go in a vip area and he let us right in. Â Like someone else said, lax security for the vip, but it was to my benefit. . .oh well. Â I did finally get to dance up there and some dudes were buying drinks.
_
Drinks were about $15 and the bartenters were good. Â
Overall it barely okay. Â I wish I had spent my $40 to get in somewhere else.
Ohh Club Play, how i had such a great time! Went here for my "aunt in laws" 23rd birthday. We had VIP and 8 bottles. Yes, 8! what a crazy night... lol Each week they have a theme.. the weekend i went it was a circus theme and there were people on stilts jumping... (can't really remember what else i saw.. sorry lol i actually can't remember most of the night! haha) but i do remember the music was good. They were playing songs that are hot now. The club is a bit small, but there are 2 floors. It does get super packed but we were fine in the VIP area. Def reccommend this place for a good time!
Review Source:First time here it was latin saturdays. Big club great atmosphere with the good music the guy on the violin and one on the drums. Open bar til 12 and we were on the list. I have to day it was a move time until some of the crowd got stupid throwing up wasted. I would live to try hop hop fridays where the crowd should be jumping. I had a good time you should try it for yourself.
Review Source:I HAD A BALL!!
I went here on a Friday nite, Line outside was Ridiculous! but the kind that makes you want to park your car and go inside lol...Maddddddd Hotties
We slip in thru a small loop hole so we avoid the line
I hear that at the end of the night they were charging $350?! that's crazy but i didn't pay so oh well!!!
It was extra crowded in this place met some dudes from Paris OMG They was Hott we sit in VIP!!!!!!!!!! everyone in VIP was HOTTTTT lol the DJ was good here too .
It had gotten so crowded in here that they had to shut the place down and turn the music off so they could get rid of some people... We are safe tho why!? simply because we are in VIP!!! ha-ha Suckeeeerrrrs.... Wait hold up the Music starts back "

THE CROWD GOES NUTTSSSSS!!!!!! OMG!!! Whew you had to have been there!!! I have a new found love for that song just on the strength of that!! lol Good place Great drinks Good fun.. Not sure about drink Pricing , entry fees and whatever else they was throwing at people I'm solely speaking from the ambiance..Give it a try
I didn't really like this place. First of all the queue outside was haphazard. We were on some kinda guestlist but they didn't seem to have our names on the list so we just had to wait outside not really knowing what was going on. There was no order to the line whatsoever and the door people were just basically letting in all their friends.
Drinks were strong, a vodka coke was around $15. The place has a huge sectioned off VIP area which took up 80% of the club and there was barely any room to dance in the non-VIP area. Music was your standard chart RnB, hip hop etc.
I would have left a lot earlier if my friend and I had not managed to sneak into VIP. I just don't see the point of having a club if you're going to have a non-existent dance floor.
The decor is also very subpar compared to other Miami clubs. I think I went there on a Friday night and the clientele was mainly black so you might feel a bit out of place if you're not black.
Club Play is as good as advertised. My BF party was a great success. The crowd was great, music was loud and live, staff was on point. The only draw back is how many scantily clad women try to finagle there way into the VIP section. Those areas could use a little more security. I do not  frequent clubs but Club Play was worth my venture out into the club scene!
Review Source:I attended a private event in the VIP at Club Play. The VIP entrance is located on the South side of the club. The party was held right in the middle of the club. I lost count of the number of lighted Grey Goose bottles that appeared every fifteen minutes. The pole dancers arrived at some point during the evening as well as hoards of people.
Rather than valet, you can park at the public parking structure across the street.
Wow, this was really a nice experience. Â I went to this place on a Wednesday night and they had a great comedy show, fashion show, singing performance and live band. Â There was an open bar from 9:00 till 10:30pm and they also had two for one drinks throughout the night. Â Considering a lot of the clubs on South Beach are pretty nasty inside this place was really clean. Â The host comedian was hilarious and the appetizers were very good. Â I'd like to mention the appetizers were only five bucks each. Â There was this platter for 20.00 bucks that was huge, too much for me but well worth the price. Â I paid 20.00 for the shows, valet, entry and open bar. Â I really felt this was a great deal in this economy and considering it was South Beach. Â The shows ended around 1:00 thereafter was an after party which was pretty cool too. Â Vivaca Fox was in the audience along with Trina and the actor from the movie Biggie. Â i don't know his name but he was there. lol Definitely a cool place to check out on Wednesdays if you don't want to be out late and you want something different for a good price. Â Enjoy.
Review Source:This place is actually called Play now, but I love this club. Â I always go on Friday nights when the party is hosted by The 400 Club promotional group, and on this particular night it's more of an upscale hip hop club. Â The inside is very chic, and the place usually attracts a classier, dressier crowd. Â And it's certainly not a cheap place to party. Â You'll often find professional athletes, rappers, and singers partying here. Â They definitely have the best hip hop/reggae DJs of any of the South Beach megaclubs. And the bartenders are very heavy handed. Â Who doesn't love a heavy handed bartender? Â The only con is that the doormen are extra tight on this particular night. Â If you're not a hot girl, with a hot girl, buying a table, or on someone's list, you'll be standing outside in your stilettos for an hour only to get rejected at the ropes.
Review Source:While on the beach, my friend and I were approached by a promoter, "selling" us a limo ride, free drinks, and entry to the new hottest club in Miami Beach. Â We tried to Yelp it on my phone, but nothing came up. Â Figured it must have been really new that no one reviewed it yet (and got excited that I'd get a First to Review badge!).
So... Is it just me or do all Miami Beach clubs lack a dance floor and only have tables for bottle service? Â If so, Club Play is the perfect example! Â The club is lined with tables and chairs for people to drop $250+ dollars on a bottle of alcohol that they can buy at at the liquor store for $25. Â There are a few stripper poles for dancers and drunk girls to dance on, but zero floor space to dance on for the non-VIP folks. Â
The only pluses were two large bars ($13 for a shot of Grey Goose. Â WTF?!?!), an upstairs with a balcony for people watching, and very attractive men.
Obviously there was no point for two girls to get bottle service, so minus the times we were invited to join parties at their table, we were posting it at the bar.
