Soho Beach House

What a great brunch. Live music and all.  They have a great ambience and the food/buffet selection is huge.  From seafood, to pastas, meatballs, risotto, grits, quiches, omelets and much more.  $45 includes only one mimosa :(.  Customer service was not what you would expect in Miami Beach - all of the staff was super-friendly and they actually come to your table often to check on you and answer questions.  I will return here and bring out of town guests.

Fantastic hotel in SoBe. Great location.
Typically members only, you can stay at the hotel and enjoy Cecconi's for dinner and the bar on the 8th floor. In addition, you have access to the pool and private beach where there is food and drink service. The menu by the pool and at the beach is refreshingly light- both price and content. Who wants a carb and grease fest when you'e worked your back side off in order to show it off? And for not inexpensive hotel, the costs of all items from mini bar to beach service, were incredibly reasonable.
As an added bonus, there is Waiter On Call service. What is that you ask? Well, between 7-9p, a bartender will come to your room and mix one of the house cocktails while you're getting ready. Excellent! And again, the price is reasonable; 14-16 per drink.
The Cowshed toiletries in the room are fab; I was a knackered cow after the first night out; the deep soaking tub filled with bubble bath gel was perfect to get me ready for night number 2.
Decent size fitness room overlooking the pool: bottled water and apples available. Nice spa and dressing room if you want a late checkout. Oh, and the house breakfast- the perfect carb fest to soak up any night before cocktails left over when you eventually have to head home.

ooh la la. i was quite lucky to score multiple invites to soho beach house during my latest trip to miami. while the other locations are lovely, miami soho takes it up a notch. have dinner under the open sky with a retractable roof, look out over miami's insane shoreline from the pool on the 8th floor, wander into exclusive parties overflowing with free drinks and food, and pray that one day you can become a member...
