Rokbar

Me & my best friend came to Miami to vacation & were excited to check out Rokbar thinking it'd be a hip rock n roll club. Oh boy we were wrong!  Went to Rokbar @1130-1145 pm on Sat night & the place was just a hole in the wall blaring bad rap music.  It's shocking to know that tommy lee even owns the bar.  We went in had 1 drink (9$ Amstel light beer & mailbu baybreeze which was 15$ for a small cup filled w/Ice that my friend sipped down in 2 sips).  We finished out drink & left asap! I'm pissed I wasted an hour of my life in that bar.  Would never check it out again. Disappointed !

Based on the reviews and the website, the club was a bit underwhelming.  The DJ lacked any finesse (no mash ups, no rock, heavy on radio faves), so the music was danceable, but not unique.  Drinks are strong, so you will get your money's worth!  The staff overall was courteous and didn't give attitude.  Pretty decent night out, but not rock star worthy.

If you are looking for a fun, club/bar that's happening on most nights of the week, this is the place for you. The music is great, pumping great beats that make you want to dance. The bartenders are friendly and remember the way you like your drinks. Although there are velvet ropes, the doormen they are friendly and make most people feel welcome. (1 star off only for smoking allowed indoors)
