John's Tacos

Quite simply, some of the best tacos in South Florida. Actually, I dare you find better ones (please let me know if you do :) And, it is one of the only places open late in Surfside.

Located almost every evening inside Josh's Deli, John's Tacos is like a pop-up gourmet taco joint, where John himself hand-makes everything. The food is cooked-to-order; from the chips and salsa, to the hot sauce(s) and guacamole, and to the tacos and burritos.

Oh, and by the way, you can sit at the bar and witness the precise detail and precision that goes into each and every dish while enjoying great conversation with John and the awesome staff.

As for the food, I will keep it short, simply because YOU need to stop reading this and just go and try it. However, if you've kept reading, the menu is incredibly simple and constantly changing (almost daily). Each one of the usually 5 taco choices are simply fantastic. I've yet to try the Burrito or Quesadilla, simply because the tacos are so damn good.

As for drinks, you MUST try the Agua Fresca. It is AMAZING.

So yes, put down your phone/computer and go. John's Tacos is delicious and will be the best decision you make tonight.

Best tacos I've had inside the US hands down. Add to that the lovely staff and you can't go wrong.

Let's face it. There aren't many taco shops on the beach (San Locos .. thats it) or miami (good ones IMO). I pass by to check this small little shop by accident. I ordered a simple chicken and carnitas soft taco. Wow. I was really surprised on how tasty it was. I would say John's taco is more of a gourmet type taco. The carnitas soft taco was really good. John added some pineapple to the taco which added a really good taste to the meat.

I'm not sure how busy it may get, but it was a quiet day when I walked in which I actually like. It had a classy small dive bar vibe.

Overall, I will be back for more delicious tacos.
