Heights Tavern is weeks away from finishing. Â You've had a twenty year run. Â And a good one. Â But your menu is still stuck in 1987.
And you couldn't substitute a green salad for fries in 2013? Â The fries are growing cold on the plate as I type.
Glad you've been here for the last two decades, but prepare to get you clock cleaned.
You have EXCELLENT staff....after two decades in upper Manhattan, I can't think of staff that are as amazing as you have. Â You've either a great training program or more likely a great word of mouth on good positions for friends/family.
But, as I type on your wifi, it is time you either get your act together or retire. Â Did I mention how awesome your staff are? Â Robert, Seb, Molly, Â etc? Â Staff Training & inspiration are the single thing you don't lack. Â It's just that your kitchen sucks. Â I mean really sucks; ordered a Pasta Primavera that went straight to the garbage a month or so ago.
Nothing more needs be said other than that you're not the only game in town anymore and that the town is welcoming the new comers.
Good Bye...this is the last time I'll eat here; you rested on your laurels for far too long.
I'll skip the drinks too. Â And I'll really miss your staff until they move elsewhere....its only a matter of time.
OH FUCKIT! Â I love you guys too much to see anything bad happen! Â Just get it together! Â C'mon! You've got more spine than you're showing! Â Step up!

I don't live far from here, and my boyfriend lives even closer. This is the place we go for drinks and bar food if we don't want to go too far but still want to go out. The servers are always friendly, and I have never had a problem with my food or drinks. If we ask for more water or extra napkins, we get what we want quickly. My only gripe is that sometimes there isn't someone to seat us quickly if we want a table on the dining side and not the bar side, but that doesn't happen much. Portions are huge!
Review Source:Too many doors to open here. Â I'm visually impaired so cant read the signs unlesd I'm close. Â Actually instinct tells me if I see a door open it. Â Consequently the bouncers look at me with suspicion, thinking I'm drunk. Â And they ask me where I'm going and if I'm all right to go into the bar. Â Thats a little bit discrimination really. Â I never cause problems for anyone. Â And there are definetly people here more drunk than me!!
Review Source:Here I go... My husband and I love this place. We've been coming for almost 2 years. On our last visit we were Deff not happy with the SERVICE and the idea of them taking off the coconut shrimp from they menu! They were so good. Whatever, we proceeded to order calamari, I'm not going to lie it was AMAZING and some drinks before ordering our entrees. My drink was too sweet, hardly any alcohol in it (call me  drunk but, I like tasting my liquor) my husband loved his banana colada (it was really good) I told the waitress about my drink she said "I watched the bartender make it it is very strong" PLEASE do not tell me what is strong or not, you're not my taste buds, mistake #1. We received our app, I know calamari is finger food but it would've been nice to have some silverware, napkins and plates on the table before our food arrived, mistake #2. We didn't even get bread and every table around us was getting it, that also annoyed me, I understand if we were rude and bitchy customers, but my husband and I are actually very pleasant and we have both been servers so we know the deal. We get our entrees ... Still no silverware we had to ask for it. I had the salad that comes in the tortilla bowl which I've always loved and my husband had some chicken dish, want that great, the chicken seemed a little undercooked just too white. He wanted salt for his string beans but guess what? No salt or pepper on the table and we didn't want to bother the waitress anymore. Then she asked if we wanted anything else, I got hot water with lemon and my husband said I'm good, FOR NOW, she brought us the check along with my hot water, mistake #3 I felt like I was being pushed out, and maybe her shift was ending but that's no excuse to rush us because my husband ended up wanting another drink. It was just one of the worse dining experience I've ever had. Thank god the food was good because the service was TERRIBLE. I won't stop going back, but will Deff make sure we don't get served by the same person.
Review Source:Post-Valentine's 2013 weekend with a good friend in continuation celebrating his birthday was a sweet gathering in the Heights--Washington Heights.
We dined to:
Shepherd's Pie, an Irish staple for a large platter not appetizer size at $12.99 was the largest portion I've seen. Â It was baked to a moist and savory ground beef and lamb in rich Irish gravy topped with creamy mashed potatoes. Â Baja Fish Tacos at $14.99, also another Irish staple that is of good value and worth a try. Â My Mesclun salad at $9.99 comprises of crushed walnuts and bleu cheese with balsamic vinaigrette was surprising a very large portion. Â (Despite of my great dislike for nuts, the actual salad and bleu cheese was good amid the microscopic dressing and bleu cheese provided). Â Our bill was at a very reasonable price without going bankrupt totaling $54.41. Â Portions are gargantuan but well worth the very reasonable price.
We drank to:
Blue Moon at $6.00 and I opt for the Cosmopolitan special at $6.00. Â Later sitting on the upper level's boisterous bar area with a Guinness for him and another Cosmopolitan for myself.
We merriment and blushed to:
A delightfully ending to each other's sweet presence with the inviting atmospheric surroundings of beer advertisements and classic American literary works as John Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men", many renown Playbill covers, photos of celebrities who dined at Coogan's in the passage of time, and printed news media notable mentions of Coogan's. Â Numerous TVs are present to screen various sporting events for the avid sport enthusiast. Â Staff is professional and prompt with a smile to serve patrons. Â On a Friday night this bar/restaurant was very actively busy filled with roaring patrons.
Note: Â Coogan's sponsors the Annual Salsa, Blues & Shamrocks 5K Race to enhance the kinship community of Northern Manhattan and is located nearby within the vicinity of NY Presbyterian Hospital. Â It is also easily access via 1 train.
Because it's in my neighborhood, I've tried this place for dinner as well as for drinks, and I have been thoroughly disappointed and frustrated on every occasion. Food is extremely overpriced and worse than what I could make myself at home. Mozzarella sticks have too much breading and not enough filling, and come out more chewy than crispy or crunchy. Fried calamari and chicken fingers were similarly soft and unappetizing. Even their hamburger is off, with tough, gray-ish meat that looks like it came from a fast food restaurant.
Drinks are weak and similarly overpriced for what you get. Service is almost non-existent and you practically have to yell to get anyone's attention. In a nutshell, avoid this place at all costs. Tasty Deli on the other side of Broadway is a much better bet, as are Malecon at 178th, Restaurant Margot at 159th, or even any of the nearby fast food places like McDonalds and Starbucks and Famiglia pizza (not-so-great themselves, but still better).
Coogan's is that old school, local Irish bar/restaurant that's been around for years... Â (Think Cheers in the hood). Â Its half a block away from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital so getting drunk amongst hospital staff and med students isn't uncommon. It gets loud and crowded here especially on a good televised game/fight night. Â So much so that I actually look at this place as the neighborhood's unofficial sports bar. Â
The food here is not memorable but its not bad either. Â It's basically diner food with a kick. Prices are moderate and the service is good. Â The dining room is separate from the bar area so there's no need to worry about that annoying drunk person asking you how the chicken tastes mid meal... Â Speaking of the chicken, the bar serves some kick ass chicken/buffalo wings with blue cheese & celery. Â I might just have to come here tonight. Â
P.S. - Whats up with the pic post of that crusty foot? Â Think I just lost my appetite. Â Uugh.
Coogan's is a pretty awesome bar. Very homey and cozy. Whether you're coming here on a saturday night or the morning after for wings to cure your hangover, it's so chill and fun. Lunch food is good too. I LOVE the wings, the pasta, and the salad. Definitely a highlight of the Heights.
Review Source:Being right in my neighborhood, I've been here many times but less and less lately. Coogan's is a fairly large restaurant with a reasonably sized menu and I want to like the place but the food is mediocre and inconsistent. I'd say stick to the bar but the drinks are fairly expensive and I've heard servers unabashedly complaining about tips and customers as I sat there. All in all, it's a clean, familiar place (think Irish pub meets Chotchkie's from Office Space) to meet for a simple beer or two and some underwhelming bar fare after work, but otherwise it doesn't stand as a destination.
Review Source:Don't come here to eat. The food is AWFUL. I am really not a picky eater. I'll eat anything, and usually enjoy anything. I never write reviews for restaurants, but I had to this time. So incredibly bad.
3 of us came here for brunch. I ordered the Captain Jack burger, thinking burgers at a pub would be safe. Wrong. The patty wasn't at all juicy, unless you count the gray grease that soaked into the bottom bun. It was topped with 2 slices of disgusting processed cheese (think Kraft Singles, literally). My friend had the steak and eggs, which was small for the price. The steak was half fat and not cooked medium, like she asked. Our other friend had the omelette of the day, which was also made with processed cheese. 3 for 3, not even remotely satisfied with the food.
We were made aware of the drink specials. The $3 sangria intrigued me. I asked if they served pitchers. "Yes, we do! The 1/2 litre is $15. It serves about 3 glasses. The bigger one is $19 and serves 4-5 glasses. So if several of you are drinking, it's definitely good to get a pitcher." ... Not sure if he thinks we're idiots or if he's just a big idiot.
I'm never going back.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 15 relatives of mine for a cousin's birthday. Though it is a an Irish pub, there was still a family feel since it was so early (around 2pm). We all ordered different food and were all pleased -- from salads, to fish entrees, chicken entrees, and burgers. Â
The best part was the service. We were very pleased with our waiter and busboys - they were extremely attentive and friendly. The manager Jamie was also very involved in the service and very attentive. Â
We all left happy - and, knowing my family, that says a lot! :)
3rd time I've eaten here, as well as a half a dozen nights of drinking at this location. The food is always outstanding(love the hanger steak on garlic bread), the drinks are great and it's nice to know customer service still exists in America. Not only were they very attentive and accommodating to us, our special needs child and our guest that showed up a little late. Â Love the fact that they pay attention to the check ins on 4Sq. (hooked us up with 3 cappuccinos and a desert for our check in) Thank you for the great meal and experience Jamie Selkirk!
Review Source:Upper manhattan has a pretty decent bar. The service was good the waiters were very nice. Came here with friends to watch the AFC championship game. They had music playing instead of the game audio but the NFC game. Had cheeseburger and fries and the fries were awesome very good. Friends didn't like the chicken wings but the atmosphere was great old bar feeling uptown manhattan. Nice bar!
Review Source:Food: My friend orders buffalo wings, chicken pot pie and a burger with fries. Â The buffalo wings tasted old, stale and just disgusting. Â Even my guy friends said they were bad and they usually eat anything. Â They said they pot-pie and burger were okay but after those wings I did not want to even give the rest of the food a chance.
Drinks: The guys ordered beers and my girlfriend and I order cosmo, the drinks were good, no complaints here.
Service: The bartender was weird, she did not seem to know what the drink specials were and when we asked her how much our drinks were she had to plug in the drink into the computer in order to tell us the price. Â I used to bartend before and I always new the prices of each drinks. Â I also do no like the fact they taxed the drinks...food? okay, but you don't tax drinks at a bar; major pet peeve of mine.
Ambiance: We went there on a Sunday, thinking due to football, the crowd would be lively....the crowd was much older (I'm 30) and it was just dead. Â Now I am not asking for a frat party, but come on, it's football Sunday.
I understand you have no control of the crowd but you have control of the service and food, and it was plain horrible.  If it was possible to give it 0.3 star  I would.
Never going back there again!
Don't come here for the food. It's not that great... That's not saying that its not good. It's just not great. Nothing is gourmet and I'm sure it's not homemade/non-frozen for things like calamari.
With that said, this place is great. The drinks are decently priced and the ongoing $4 Coors and $5 watermelon martinis guarantee a great cheap bar night if you're not too picky or classy. The tap selection is standard and they do have pretty good wings and a good wing special on game nights.
All in all if you're in the area this is one of the best bars to go to. Diverse crowd (impossible to find in the area), cheep drinks, good music and sports... Good enough!
Coogans with out a doubt the only reason I tolerate living in the heights. When my mom was younger and lived in the heights she and my aunt would spend most of there weekends here. Even after I was born and we moved upstate she and my aunt would still meet up at coogans for a girls night. I moved to the city about a year ago and only found it fitting to hang out here. The crowd is super mixed not what you would expect for Washington heights. The manager is the most accommodating man you'll ever meet. Rob is an excellent bartender. I can assure you that no matter where I live I will always be at coogans
Review Source:Pass.
Decent service, bland food, the salads are a yawn. Â It's disguised as an Irish bar but does not have that feel to it at all. Â And the one time I was looking for my bar in my neighborhood at 3am, they were turning out the lights as I walked up. Â Coogan's, what are you good for?
Hmm, not sure how I have missed putting up a review here. Â This is one of the staples in Washington Heights, and the food generally does not disappoint. Â Everything is pretty decent, and some things are actually very tasty (i.e. steak sandwich). Â Prices are super reasonable and service is always polite and fast. Â They also have karaoke, I think every night? Â My volleyball crew comes here every few months and usually end up singing embarrassing karaoke songs after having taken way too many shots and imbibed too many pitchers of Blue Moon. Â
Crowd is generally very chill..will give you a recent example. Â On one of these volleyball dinner karaoke excursions, one of the guys, a Baltimore native, wore his Orioles hat while singing a Jewel song, in front of a crowd of Yankees fan, Â in the middle of the Yankees/Orioles game..and did not get killed. Â Yes, there was friendly heckling, but everyone generally was good-natured, except for the one guy who eventually got thrown out of the bar. Â But yes, Coogan's is always good for a fun time.
Been up in this neighborhood several times for visits and it is one of the closest bars to my friend's place. It is very reminisent of a L.A. bar called Joxer Daly's. We visited Coogan's like 3 times over the week. The drinks are decent. The juke box is one of those new digital ones and it's pretty cool. The people are locals from around the way and even as a non New Yorker it was easy to fit in here.
One night I ordered the potato skins. Big mistake. The ranch was not good, the skins were dusted in flour and fried over sized steak fries- not actual hollowed out potatoes. The cheese would not really met and the bacon wasn't crumbled. It was not good. The waitress wasn't too nice either. Next time I'll just stick to the bar and hit the deli up the street for munchies.
It's lovely to sit outside on their terrace on a nice day for brunch, that alone is worth one star.
The food was okay, nothing amazing, but it did the job and satisfied the very specific craving I had at the moment. Service was okay, I had to ask for the check myself and my plate was never cleared. Granted, there was food left, but I thought leaving your fork and knife together at an angle on the lower right hand side was the international sign for "I have finished eating." Maybe I am the only person who was forced etiquette lessons as a child. Who knows.
Anyway, I would be back for brunch, but just because of its convenient location and nice terrace.
I have been here a few times over the years for one reason or another, and found the place to be your standard mid level Irish Pub. It has the feel of a 70's or 80's Irish Bar that seems to be caught in a time tunnel. Coogan's has not aged gracefully. The "lines (walls)" are covered with Beer advertising and other mundane collateral.
Service by the Bartenders has always been efficient and friendly. The bar itself has a strong regular clientele, but this did not affect service. I was made to feel welcome by the Bar staff. Kudos to the Bartenders.
Overall, if I am in the area this is a decent place for a drink. Now, this is a no frills establishment with standard everything; from beer selection to liquor to food. Coogan's has outdoor seating, plenty of TVs, large rectangular bar and a very diverse crowd. I guess if I lived in the area I would be a regular, but it certainly needs to reboot its interior.
Day 5 - "June Challenge: A-B-C!"
Cancel my last review. Did anyone see the photo I uploaded? Did they really charge me 7.50 for a tiny wine glass filled with a drop of nasty absolut and soda? Really? Not to mention every time someone ordered a Guinness I was appalled at the awful pour.
Their chicken fingers were good. Fries were cold and soggy but the drink sealed their fate. Never again.
Pretty average Irish bar/restaurant, except a lot of people that can frequently be seen in it aren't just drunk Irish, but drunk Dominicans- hey, its Washington Heights!
Drinks aren't particularly cheap. But I think this spot is really helped by the fact that there's not much else, in terms of bars, in the area. Unless, you're looking for one of those danky Spanish restaurants/bars in the area.
I wasnt impressed with this place. from the gate a number of staff member let us know we werent welcome. it was pretty empty, which is ok for me since i dont need a large crowd to have fun. when we got there, we went to sit at one of the tables in the back. after a couple of minutes someone told us that we can only sit there if we order from the waitress. thats no problem, if a waitress actually shows up. after a few moves, we decided that we weren't comfortable with half our group being required to stand in a bar with a total of about 10-15 people in it. moreover, it was the way the staff talked to us whenever we were being told to move somewhere. it was just short and impolite.
the upside of the visit was that the drinks were pretty cheap and the bartender was nice. so those two qualities earns the two stars. the rest of the guys walking around the bar telling where you can and cant sit were summer's eve products.
Where do I begin with Coogan's? The restaurant - I like. The foods better than decent, and every time I've been, the service and staff has been great. Last time, in fact, I was there for over 5 hours catching up with an old classmate - but don't fret, I tipped the 2 servers extremely well. I haven't experienced the newish outdoor area yet, but it seems fairly nice. I'd recommend the restaurant.
HOWEVER, when it comes to Coogan's - "the bar", I find the crowd consistently uninviting, and competitive. Mostly because the dude:chick ratio is about 3:1, and that gets far wider when the FDNY and NYPD show up to drink.
I'll keep this short and sweet.
Coogan's is a place that survives based on it's location, as far as I can tell. There's really not much else to explain it's popularity or why people come here.
It's just such an average place. So unremarkable in a city full of interesting places.
As other Yelpers have noted, the beer and drink selection here is standard, which is inexcusable anywhere in the beer-loving year of 2012, but especially in NYC.
Also, the food here, though I've never tried it, always looks so unappetizing (and bar food already fits that description to begin with) that I swear to avoid it.
The crowd is the one saving grace here. It's a mature and professional crowd, so you'll meet some good personalities here.
Plus, watching some of the karaoke acts can be as good as any comedy venue in the city.
This place made me like Washington Heights. The people that work here are super fun and the owner is one of the sweetest guys I have ever met.
The crowd is very mixed, ranging from Columbia students, hospital people and Dominicans. It is kind of funny that it is an Irish bar in The Heights, but not a bad idea!
I rarely ever venture this far uptown and by uptown, Washington Heights is definitely up up up! 168th stop for that matter. Â I came up one Sat morning to visit a friend and grab brunch up in her hood. Â We stumbled into Coogan's and opted for their brunch menu. Â
I ordered the Coogan's Big Brunch for $11.99 (their best deal, btw) which came with 2 eggs any style, sausage, bacon, silver pancakes, potatoes, OJ, and coffee. Â Good lord, that's a lot of food. Â I mean, for $11.99, it's worth it.
Our waiter was cool and friendly, even though he accidentally spilled water all over my friend (was super apologetic and embarrassed). Â Food was ok. Can't really go wrong with brunch food, right? Â
Decent spot overall.
I have been going to school around here for a year and never have I once made it to a school social here. But, finally, I made it here last night, to meet up with some old buddies.
This is an Irish pub and well I don't fancy Irish pubs. We came here because there aren't many good options up in this neck of the woods. Oh well. This was a very medicore experience, but the company was great and good conversation always makes up for mediocre places.
I ordered an Asian salad (how stereotypical of me) with grilled shrimp. It was a decent dish but I have no idea what was going on with the dressing. It was super weird. It tasted like soy sauce and sesame oil. I can't stand sesame oil. The grilled shrimp was good, but you can't really screw that up.
For dessert, we couldn't decide, so we ended up having the brownie sundae and the apple cobbler. By far, the brownie sundae wins. But as I am a dessert monster, I devoured both desserts (with some help). After all, I was famished after a 5 mile run.
We came on a Thursday night and boy we were lucky. It was karaoke night! Yes I am lame like that. The MC sang Creed's "Arms Wide Open," and I was absolutely gushing. It is a very special song for my friend. If you knew him, you would totally understand why this song was so appropriate.
Oh yea, there were Coors Light girls there too. One was a rockabilly hottie and she was giving away glow necklaces. And she sold my friend  raffle ticket. Awesome.
This place was really really cheesy, but I had a good time. Not really my kind of place, but it was worth it. My friends are awesome and good memories are priceless!
I end up at Coogan's a lot, mainly because there aren't a lot of restaurants where big groups from work can go for lunch or happy hour.
The food just isn't that good. But it's not horrible either. I can get a shepherd's pie, and no, it isn't a particularly good shepherd's pie... but it is shepherd's pie, which is a hard-to-find comfort food. So I like that! The burgers and sandwiches and salads are the same way. Not particularly good, but not horrible either. And the service is usually fine. So if you are stuck in the area, this may be one of your best choices... but it's nothing to get excited about.
I work in this neighborhood so I know this place like the back of my hand, which is unfortunate because of how I think of this spot:
Coogan's is like that regrettable one night stand that lasted 5 weeks longer than it should have. And dang it, he won't leave me alone even after I told him that we were not dating. In fact, I think he wants to move in with me.
When my coworkers cast the vote to go here for an event, I groan and three thoughts run through my head:
1. They serve here what they call, "food" which makes me shiver thinking about it, and the "food," is mostly of mushy and tasteless objects. I would rather eat a can of cat food.
2. I hope that Coogan's switched management since the last I've been there in hopes of better food quality alone.
3. Their karaoke list has not been updated since 1999. (Estimate.)
Yes they have karaoke nights.
In fact, I think this may be the only reason why Coogan's is still here. They can host fun nights to a very laid back and eclectic community of people that give it a "neighborhood bar," feel. Everyone was supportive and comfortable with the variety of genres sung up on stage and clap and cheer for those performing.
That, and they have good drinks that aren't too expensive.
(Here I go again, rationalizing why it may be okay to salvage the relationship.)
Honestly, I wouldn't be sad or surprised if this place shut down.
In fact, I would think a similar place opening up in it's spot could do much, much better.
I hope he will be an interesting, open-minded intellectual, who is cultured, with a kind heart, honest, handsome, muscular, and also has excellent hygiene.
It is hard to like this place. Â Being the only pub in the Washington Heights/Columbia University Medical Center, it is inevitable that social gatherings/happy hours after work result with a (or many) walk(s) to Coogan's.
The place is big, and it attracts a crowd (probably because there is no other pub around). Â Because it does get busy easily, their service and food can be mediocre.
The food there is less than average. Â I've had their nachos that were overpriced for the food that we get and chicken sandwiches that was literally a piece of chicken breast on toast with some condiment.
Service is hit-or-miss. Â The last time I went was a MAJOR miss! Â The server, while paying attention to us, was busying schmoozing with other people. Â I kept asking him for vodka-soda, and he wasn't aware of what "soda" I wanted. Â Then he comes back with vodka-tonic, which he claimed was vodka-soda. Â Whatever--not complaining about it. Â I got 3 of them throughout the evening, saying another vodka-soda, only to get vodka-tonic. Â The kicker is when we got our tab, this guy served me "Grey Goose!" OMG, I was so annoyed with that guy at that point--why would he serve me Grey Goose when I did not specify Grey Goose from the get-go?!? Â I'm so bothered by this experience that I decided to Yelp about this place (I hardly Yelp about places where I work nearby).
I'm staying by the bar next time I go there (I have had decent experiences there in the past).
Everything was awful except the ice cream.
Flat beer, four cardboard 'chicken' fingers for eight bucks, a French onion soup that's more oil and bacteria than broth and cheese; overcooked salmon, soggy croutons in a salad, you name it they got it wrong.
The decor is as if TGI Friday's got a makeover in the fifth ring of hell.
Spied my (unobjectionable, properly-tipped) waiter eating what looked like a steamed leek for his dinner. Probably the only non-wretched thing in the house.
Vile restaurant, massively expensive, attended only because literally nothing else was open in Ft Washington. Please, someone put this shop out of its misery.
Coogans is a Washington Heights staple. Having grown up just a few blocks away I would look at it and think "one day." Then that day came when my friends and I, all just over 21 walked in. We stood at the bar with our amaretto sours and looked around only to be greeted by people we went to high school with, a few medical students, hospital and university staff and the boys in blue. We walked out after our drink but from then on it became our 'hood bar.
Karaoke nights are hi-larious. The people that sing are, for the most part, regulars and sing the same songs. So if you ever want to see a good Michael impersonation, complete with spins, then you'll always know where to go.
The food is fine. Nothing to crave but nothing to cringe to either. BUT I must say that on Mondays they have this Brunch special all day and you get: french toast, pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon and potatoes and OJ and coffee for like $10 and it's great! Just a little fyi for ya.
Coogans is fully deserving of it's 3.5 stars. Â
Outside it looks like a pretty funky Irish pub, but on the inside, it's just another restaurant with a bar. Â It's a great place for a quickie pick me up when you can't be bothered to leave the Heights, but the food is mediocre at best and the only Irish thing about it is the "Shepherd's Pie" which the last time I checked was British. Â
The thing that makes this place awesome is karaoke night. Â Eric, the karaoke maestro, is not only extremely talented, but will also sing backup for you like he WROTE it. Â
Otherwise, I'd recommend another place if you had the time, money, or inclination.
I'd also NOT recommend trying to pick up anyone here. Â Unless you dig greasy old dudes.
It's the only game in town, eh?
The only thing I wish is that they didn't have that damned Karaoke machine...it's torture. Â The bartender was nice, but the place was lousy with 40-something Jersey guys that looked like they were all named "Tony" or "Vinnie"
I wouldn't step foot in here on a friday or saturday night were it not for my big group of friends to play defensive block.
The vodka tonics are served in a tiny little wine glass, and have almost no tonic in them....I'd have rather seen it in a tall glass with at least 2 or 3 parts tonic, but oh well.
Ketel One and tonic $7 plus tip.
All the Karaoke you can stomach, free.
