The customer service and price were awesome.  I am always  looking for a great local place to get food.  The breadsticks were ok.  A little greasy, but after a day of football and beer, this was good.  The pizza was pretty good.  To be fair, we didn't get the specialty pizzas on the menu, just the boring pepperoni and sausage (which is not to say that the taste is boring, just the choice....the sausage is made in house!).  So maybe the others are better.  It was good enough that i'll give it another try in the future.  As an aside, the owner responded to my review the next day.  As a customer, this shows me that he cares.  In a recent episode of Kitchen Nightmares, hosted by Gordon Ramsay, he used a panel of "Yelpers" to get a point across to a restaurant owner.  When the owner responded to his customers feedback, the outcome was amazing.  Bravo to Cook's Pizza!!
Review Source:Decided to change things up and skip the usual chain pizza and took a chance on cooks. Â Man am I glad we did. Â Very small town pizza place feel. Â Took a moment and was able to talk with the owner. Â Great group of people. Â Had the chance to meet the mother and father as well! Â Now to the food. Â Had a large pep pizza, order of 10 breadsticks and the best "baked" wings I have had. Â Remember to ask for the wings in "spicy garlic". Â Â The pizza was typical small town pizza but with a great homemade sauce. Â I was told the sausage is made in the store as well. Â Every pizza/wings come with a homemade ranch that is heavy on the dill and just great. Â Will be going back.
Review Source:Excellent NY style pizza will go back again. Â I live nearby and wanted to try it out and was not dissappointed. Â The recent reviews by Aaron M and Sarah C summarize the place well. Â I just had a basic 1/2 Pep and 1/2 sausage looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Â Was also great leftover the next couple days.
Review Source:A friend from work suggested I try this place. Â Ah, delightful! Great pizza + great service = happy me. It's new to the Fishers area, so they were still getting a feel for figuring out exactly what they wanted to be displayed on the menu board. Needless to say, they still had some kinks to work out, but they were making great progress. Â It's not a place you can go for a sit down meal. Â They have four tall tables with chairs, but that's all. So plan on either ordering or picking up -- Papa Johns style. I plan on making another visit soon. Pizza perfection.
Review Source:This place just opened but their sign has been up for months beckoning me. Â My finance and I decided to stop by for a pie today. The first thing we noticed was that their menu was rather sparse which really isn't a big deal as long as the pizza is good. I eat a lot of Jockamo's (Irvington) and Baxbeaux (multiple Indy locations) and have been spoiled by the plethora of specialty pies they offer. It wasn't clear from the menu if you could make your own pizza and I neglected to ask. They have four or five featured pizzas. Anyway, we opted for a 14 inch (their largest size) Famous Amos which has Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper, onion and black olives. After tax it was $15.75 with a 10% off coupon they gave us when we came to pick it up. The employees were friendly and the place was clean, but of course it is brand new. There are four or five tables in a small dine-in area but this place appears to be more of a take out/delivery place. We took our pizza home.
Upon opening the pie it reminded me of those small town pies you can get all over Indiana. Similar in looks to Pizza King or Arni's for example. The crust was nicely browned around the edges. Toppings were generous but not overwhelming. Very good cheese to topping ratio. The pizza wasn't drowning in sauce which is good. Sauce had a good taste. Crust was crispy on the bottom but substantial enough that you get a good mouthful without having to take too large of a bite. Funny they include reheat instructions on the box...trust me, there weren't any leftovers.
No exotic toppings here unless you consider chicken and pineapple exotic, which I don't. More of a" down home" pizza joint, but well executed and should fit in well in the Noblesville/Fishers area. Overall I'd say it was very good pizza and I will be going back.
