Small town diner where half of the building is a small market/deli and the other half is a very casual diner where you seat yourself. Â Ordered the Chicopee breakfast because I wanted to try Blue Seal kielbasa which is a local product and recommended by a friend who lives in the area. Â I was not disappointed. Â It's a lot tastier than the generic kielbasa you buy in the store. Â The rest of my breakfast was average. Â Eggs over medium were cooked perfectly, toast wasn't burnt and had a good amount of butter and the potato hash had a nice crisp to them. Â Drew a pretty good crowd for a Friday morning, and I heard it can get quite busy on weekends. Â I can see parking being a problem sometimes. Â Nice enough place that I'd come back.
Review Source:Good place to go for breakfast (and lunch, even though I've only had lunch there once...but it was good).
The parking lot's small, and hard to get into a spot if the place is full. You walk in, you can seat yourself. With this system, most of the time the table isn't cleared once you arrive. Last time I went, the service was kinda shotty. But the food is worth a taste...although, I think the service does add to the experience...so don't base it solely on that.
Interestingly enough, there's a convenience/package store annexed to the restaurant. Eat some lunch, then buy a bottle of wine? Only in Chicopee. hah
