Went here July 3rd 2013. Girlfriend, her daughter, and daughter's friend.
There was a decent line of people waiting around when we got there, but inside seating was available immediately. Yes please!
Robyn and her daughter got land lubber meals. Chicken sandwich and baby back ribs. Both were good. I think the ribs were braised or boiled before being sauced and finished in the oven, but they were still good. Not mushy, good taste, good sauce.
The two seafood lovers got the AYCE blue crab combo that also came with ribs, steamed shrimp, and belly filler decoys of corn and french fries.
Same babyback ribs.. Â mmmm good!
Shrimp were just right, seasoned with old bay. Shell on headless, wish they were head on but still very good. All nice and big and meaty, not a mushy or tiny shrimp in the whole batch.
Blue crabs were delicious. Big and meaty, nice heavy crabs, only one or two out of the numerous ones I devoured were missing a claw. Steamed and seasoned perfectly. They weren't stingy either, our server was quick with a refill!
I think it is worth mentioning that ayce crab is a bit of a crab lottery. If the season is going well and most of the catch is big and meaty then your ayce crab will be big and meaty. If the catch is of lesser quality with a bunch of smaller light crabs guess which ones go to the AYCE... bingo, the smaller ones.
People that trash a place about smaller crabs should have thought about that and paid the $$$ for a dozen jumbos!
In summary I was thrilled with this meal. Would go back in a heart beat!
