Decio Commons is a solid four-star on-campus place to grab some pretty good food. Â I've giving it five stars, though, because it's so perfect for its location and because of Deb, the woman who runs it. Â She's a sweetheart and a Notre Dame institution.
Come here for the salad bar (a bit expensive) and the soup sometimes. Â Keep coming back because it's quick in and out and because it's a relaxing place to eat before class or your big meeting with your professor. Â I came here a lot because Decio is connected to Malloy Hall, where the theology program is, and it was much more convenient to walk a few feet indoors than to have to take the shortcut through the chemistry building to get to LaFortune. Â It's also a quick walk from here to the library, and it's never really crowded.
