Great lunch buffet for 9 dollars.

Our new favorite Indian restaurant. Excellent Tikka Masala as well as a nice selection of Indian beers. We will be back for sure.

Gave their buffet a try and was disappointed. Yes you get $9 worth of food but not really tasty. Desserts were all done badly. Dahi vada was bad. Samosa's were double fried and hence excessively oily inspite of the filling being tasty. Aloo tikki's were bland and so were all of the chicken dishes. The only 2 dishes that were done well were the goat curry and aloo gobi even though the masala was again more on the excess side. No wonder none of my indian friends were recommending it :-)

Had the "lunch buffet". The food was tasty and well prepared, stocked pretty well and all that. But...just seemed kind of toned down maybe? There was no uhm... *heat* to it I guess. I like vindaloo and madras and.... the good stuff. This had zero heat to it, maybe intentionally? Wish they would offer at least a couple dishes with a bit more zing to them, but not bad overall.

Solid lunch buffet! Never replaces ordering dishes hot and made to order ... but it's a great value, and there are tons of options. Salad bar, too.

Loved the spinach (saag) mushroom curry and paneer butter masala.

    9 bucks, can't beat it.

Found this place from Yelp and it is closer than India Palace which is my "go-to" Indian/Pakistani restaurant.
I went for the lunch buffet for the first go-round so as to get a wider sampling and assess quality and variety.  The verdict:

Everything I ate as far as entrees go was quite good, they even had goat curry, which I enjoyed (although the meat was a little chewy).  The sauces were different from each other.  I enjoyed especially the Mushroom Saag and the Chicken Curry.  The samosas were very large and had a good filling, though just ever so slightly greasy, and the raita and chutney were fine.

I would have given the place 4.5 stars, but the only complaint I had was that the entrees could have been a little warmer temperature-wise, maybe turn up the steam table a bit.

I will certainly return for dinner.

I haven't tried a lot of Indian restaurants on this side of town, but I love chicken tikka masala (so I compare each restaurant based on this dish and the naan). Compared to the ones I've tried on the south side, their chicken tikka masala is pretty good. The naan wasn't the best, but I'll definitely keep coming back. As the previous reviewer wrote, it'd be great if they delivered!

Great to finally have good Indian food on the NW side! We ordered takeout and everything was great: paratha, Palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, samosas. Well prepared, not bland at all. Hoping they'll be around for a long time. Wish they delivered!
