Came here during early evening on Tuesday Wing Night, since it's just so famous.
It was a little bit difficult to get a seat and the place only got more packed as the minutes ticked by. Service was generally attentive, but the wings took forever to arrive.
For those who don't know, wing night means 25 cent wings, which everyone in the neighborhood flocks to. To be honest, I don't know why because the wings were really crappy. I just ate them to go through the motions and because it was something to do. The poor combination of cheap quality and too much cheap sauce to drown them in killed it, but the pub itself is a chill corner neighborhood spot to drink at.
The crowd is a nice, laid back 20 and 30 something mix of young professionals, which makes for a welcoming environment.
As a note, they also have $10 steaks on Wednesdays and $3 burgers on Thursdays. (I hear the burgers aren't too bad!)
Happy hour deals aren't really posted, but I do know they occasionally have $10 pitchers.
Overall, just a regular ol' local spot.
Definitely try a burger here. Â
We came late on a Thursday evening, not much going on, but then again it was a Thursday. Â It was also raining. Â Inside seemed meh as we walked through, but they do have a little covered outdoor section in the very back where we sat. Â Burger is totally solid, and was perfect with a Murphy's stout. Â Now for us, this was just a stop for dinner, but this seems like the perfect place to post up with the guys, eat some wings, watch the game, and drink heavily. Â Bottoms up.
