Don Pablo's is a chain on tex-mex style restaurants. I ordered the grilled shrimp in cilantro lime butter sauce with a side of rice and it was beyond salty. My hubby ordered a burrito and as soon he grabbed it to take a bite, the contents fell off because it wasn't wrapped right. There was a hole under. Then we ordered a sopapilla and it was the greasiest sopapilla we've had in our lives. It was literally floating in grease. The only thing that saved this place from being a 1 star is the coronita which is a margarita with a small bottle of corona. My hubby liked it and it was a pretty interesting drink. The server was also nice though it was obvious she was trying to upsell us with the other dips they have for the chips.

If you like Mexican food, definitely stay away from this place. Coming from Los Angeles and my numerous Mexico visits... I know what I'm talking about.

All you need to do is sit in the bar and ask for Cathy (and yes your kids can sit in the bar area).  Our family eats here like once a week which is odd because we are not "Chain Restaurant" type people.  Food and Margs are great.  Our 6 year old daughter always wants to go here on her birthday.  This is great for my wife and I because they do not serve margaritas at Chuckee Cheese

Ate at this location today for my BDay.  The service was great and so was the food. We started with chips n salsa and some queso dip. My daughter loves the "orange queso". Yes it comes in 2 colors. White or orange. Lol! I love their Taquitos as an appetizer.  Then I ordered the 2 item combo with a pork tamale and a Chile relleno.  Finally!! A real Chile relleno!! So yummy! I couldn't eat everything so now I have leftovers for dinner too! Happy Birthday to me!!

Shoulda knocked back a margarita or two but I had to drive home. :(

Not sure about the food.  It took too long to even get served drinks so we voted with our feet.  We won't go back.  I agree with Phillip H: "Horrible service" and Junie D "Service was tardy".

Horrible service.  Great food.  I am torn because I think I just got the only good entree in my group.  The waitstaff was 50/50.  Our waitress unfortunately was not on the right side of that 50.  I went in with a group of 5 about 2 hours before they closed and was practically told to get out that they were closing down their kitchen.  2 hours early, WTF?  Nonetheless we chose to stay and the rude service just couldn't end there.  Waitress wouldn't serve us alchohol because the bar was closed down and the bartender had taken off for the night.  Not even bottled beer.  I could go on but it only gets worse from there.  The one bright spot was the fajitas I got.  Everyone elses orders were wrong, completely cold from sitting for 20+ minutes or burned.  Crappy food+Crappy Service= Don Pablo's  I am sure some other time if I ever try it  again this review will get better but for now, this terrible event left a taste in my mouth im not willing to chance again.

Nothing too bad and nothing too good... about what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Tuesday was AYCE tacos, which was fun. The sauce from the chicken was good, but a little too juicy, which made the tortillas soggy. Refried beans were burnt badly, but they accommodated with a new corn cake. Had I not been competitively eating with the tacos, I would have had more chips and salsa, which were pretty good. Their dessert specialty is sopapillas, which I highly recommend. The staff is usually pretty observant and quick here, and there isn't usually much of a lunch crowd to delay you.

Yesterday, I used a coupon I received in my mail for $5 off my total of $15 or more on a Saturday or Sunday.  So this was the basis for my order.

The waitress was very nice in offering and making me a CHERRY Coke.  I tried their classica (chicken) tortilla soup.  The sauce was good, but it had many vegetables in it.  More chicken would had made a better blend.  I think they could have withheld the onions.  I chose my main entree to be Numero Uno Favorito with the unique sides of cornmeal spoon bread and chile mashed potatoes vs. the typical Mexican rice and beans.  Although the flour tortilla was small, I think there should be more strips of chicken given in it.  I like the queso dip to go with it.  The enchilada and steak fajita taco were fine.  The cornmeal spoon bread was delicious.  However, I did not care for the potatoes as the tasted untypical even with the chile.

Blech.  Service was tardy (but the server kindly apologized) and food was mediocre.  Go to Abuelo's instead -- far superior.

The Queso Blanco appetizer is divine and I strongly recommend you give it a try.

Also, the website posts nutritional information about the menu and makes it easy to plan ahead when you're on a diet.
