Steak N Shake

Always a good experience at this location. Only complaint is how slow the drive thru is.   However it's better than going in sometimes.  Quite noisy.  Maybe that's more than one complaint lol.  Anyhow food is hot, good and great holiday shakes !!

I like this place, it is a chain and it is expanding into the east coast area-with a recent positive review in the WSJ where due to cost of real estate they put a 'walk-up-to-the-counter' place in Midtown.  

This one is near my brother's home and their choice for a quick, inexpensive, excellent burger.  It was clean, well run and full of cheerful people striving to help you.  

I am also a near 'naked' burger person so it was easy to get my burger exactly the way I wanted it.

My nephews love the shakes (I am trying to be good so i stuck to the iced tea).

A three means this is on my short list if I feel like a good burger and don't want to spend much.

On business trip with west (left) coast.

The BarBQ steak burger is tastier than Carl's (Hardy's) IMHO.  And of course, I could not resist the Orange Freeze shake!  I skipped the fries this time.

I will definitely keep this in mind on my next trip.
