Dragon Garden

I've had a couple good experiences here since I moved into the area a few months ago. I've only had take out but it has been pretty tasty, and it comes out super fast, even for a chinese place. The decor inside is a bit over the top in my opinion, you just have to see it to understand.
I'll continue to order from here cause I live right around the corner. There are some places in the general area that are just as good or better but Dragon Garden definitely satisfies the chinese food craving for me.

This is a wonderful and affordable Chinese restaurant in Springfield, PA.  My husband and I go here every Thursday for their $9.99 buffet.  I have to say, I love Dragon Garden. First off, we love going here for the service.  The servers are wonderful.  While there are only two of them, and sometimes the place gets pretty crowded, both servers always have a smile and laugh and pay attention to our plates, drinks and duck sauce.

Secondly, and you'd never expect this from the outside.  But the inside of the restaurant is incredible.  The detail on the wall and ceiling is just amazing. It's so so so unique and beautiful to look at. when we bring people here they are stunned!  

Third, the FOOD.  It's great! I've never had anything that I didn't enjoy.  The buffet is nice too... there are about 8 stations but each dish is well prepared and has quality ingredients like pork, shrimp, chicken.  The dumplings are fantastic.  They have crab legs too.  I really enjoy the general tso's, and the green beans and beef.

I love that we always get those crunchy stick things with duck sauce right away.  Don't know what they put in that duck sauce, but it rules.

So, all in all. Dragon Garden is a family run establishment with smiling servers and great food.  It's more than affordable, generous portions and a fantastic atmosphere.  Not sure what else you could want in a Chinese Restaurant!  Well done!

The fried wontons were good (a bit oily but edible). The orange chicken was not good.  It was a deep fried chicken tender cut up with sauce poured over it.  The curry chicken tasted like cinnamon not curry. Will not go back.
