What happened? Â My wife and I have been there may times and enjoyed great food and good service. Â I went there last Friday and ordered the special as it was told to me "Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass with a Pomegranate Glaze", sounds good right? Â When my food arrived it had a Pomegranate Vinegar smell, which was by no means a turn off. Â Then I looked at the fish, it was a piece of fried fish sitting on top of rice (Jasmine rice actually). Â Fried Chilean Sea Bass you say? Â Who ever decided that breading and frying this wonderful piece of fish should be removed from the kitchen. Â Needless to say it was inedible, tasted like fish sticks, Â I sent it back and watched my wife enjoy her steak, while I sipped my drink. Â I have not counted this place out yet, but I am very close. Â I am very curious if it is under new management.
Review Source:We came here a couple of weeks ago when I was craving a Cobb salad - a thorough search of Delaware County menus led us here.
We were promptly seated in the dining area, but we noticed that there were happy hour specials - and you can only get those when seated in the bar area. We asked to be relocated and were without a problem. Fortunately, the bar area was warmer than the restaurant part, which was freezing.
Hubs ordered a Hop Devil and was served a Yuengling lager. Maybe they were trying to pull one over on us by swapping out the cheaper beer? Not sure who would confuse the two, though. The waiter fixed it for us.
We ordered the calamari happy hour special. These were good but very greasy, and I didn't love the sweet and spicy sauce they were served with. I would have preferred some fresh lemon.
My Cobb salad was delicious, even though it was riddled with sundried tomatoes that weren't doing it for me. The other items were all fabulous, and I left completely stuffed. Hubs had a chicken sandwich and found it bland and lacking flavor. He had requested fruit instead of fries, but the server got that messed up, too.
Also, my lemonade was super watery.
I doubt we'd go back - there's too many good restaurants out there.
