Went here one night when we were too tired to cook ourselves.  The food was very very very average, we ordered the pizza.  It tasted as if it was frozen and just cooked in an oven upon ordering.  Would be a great place to just go and grab a beer.  This is owned by the same group as Carolina Ale House, I just wish it were that, as the food there is much better.

Christmas is a hard time for Jews because nothing is ever open!  Eddie's was open until 9 so a 7 o'clock reservation we made.  The manager politely asked us to be out by 9 so that the staff could get home for Christmas.. no problem.  Our server was very sweet and attentive to our needs.
Food was better than average.  We started with a caprese salad as an appetizer.  It could have used a little more basil, but was otherwise good.  My mom and I each had the spinach salad with sauteed calamari.  Fresh spinach topped with Kalamata olives, feta cheese, pepperoncinis, roma tomatoes & red onions 7.49 +5.00 for the calamari.  I had been munching on snacks all day so I wasn't terribly hungry.  Had this been a standard dinner day, I don't think the portion size would have been enough.  The boyfriend had the Rigatoni Ala Vodka.  Rigatoni pasta tossed with Prosciutto, sundried tomatoes & mushrooms in a  vodka cream sauce. 12.99  If you're looking for a heavier traditional meal, this is a good way to go.  It was flavorful and the pasta was cooked perfectly.  Dad had the ribeye.  A 16 ounce ribeye marinated in alight bourbon marinade. 21.99  It came with a salad and a potato to complete a a full meal.
The boyfriend was trying to be nice and pay for dinner, but there was a little snafu.  We tried to call ahead in advance and they wouldn't take credit cards over the phone.  So when we got there, we secretly passed over the credit card and asked to buy a gift card (cause that's their thing there).  When the bill came, my boyfriends credit card was charged for dinner AND the 100$ gift card.  AWKWARD.  He was a sweetie and just paid for it all cause what else are you gonna do.  Come on Eddie's, is it really that confusing?
Because the food and service were good, I'd go back... but I'd also like to check out some other local finds too.

this was an oasis in the land of BBQ and Fried Chicken.  Good Italian food, I had veal cutlet parm, wife had chicken parm and both were very good.  If you like the Carolina Ale House restaurant chain (owned by same company), you will like this place, decent prices and an attractive place.
