Elephant Bar Restaurant

I've been to the Elephant Bar about 7 times since it opened. (Fun fact: on our first visit, the credit card machines were down, and we couldn't leave for 30 minutes.) I keep going back with the hope that I just ordered the wrong thing and that the next time I go, it will be better.

It never is.

Last night I had the barely edible Thai High chicken salad. The chicken was extremely salty and it tasted like coffee grounds. No thought was given to the composition of the salad; they just dumped chicken on old greens, added cucumber slices, and called it a day.

The only good thing I've had there is the Macau soup with grilled salmon. However, literally every other thing I've had there is not just mediocre, but actively BAD. Which is a shame, because the service has always been good, they have drink specials, and the atmosphere is fun.

I have learned my lesson and will not be returning.

Never had a bad meal here.  To me it is an Applebee's on steroids.  The quality of food is very good and is definitely one of my favorites.  I would definitely recommend trying it out.

When it first open the food wasn't to bad but as time progress it has gotten pretty bad. I am only giving it 1.5 star because of the location and interior. Rounding down to 1 star because the bathroom was not very clean.
