This review is long overdue. I went to Pat and Dandys this past weekend with some family and friends and had a mediocre experience. We all ordered and it took about an hour for us to get our food. Also our drinks were empty a lot of the time but are server wasn't to bad. When we finally got out food mine was wrong but I was so hungry I didn't care. The food its self was pretty good as it usually is. The real problem with P&D's is the service. I've heard of waitress punching customers, bartenders that didn't like making drinks (Rob), and a waitress that gets mad at you when she screws up your order.
Come for good food at a modest price, but don't come for good customer service.
Also the bathroom is creepy.
For those YELP'rs who won't consider what's on the inside because of what they see on the outside..... you may stop reading here. Â Pat & Dandy's is "NO FRILLS" on the outside, fo sho! Â A rickety fence guarding its lack luster outdoor patio. Â A low-profile dirty white building that is fairly rundown in appearance. Â Â Now, for YELP'rs who want TO KNOW... read on. Â Â P&D's inside is as common looking as any town's local haunt. Â Outfitted for sports viewing with TVs and a light sprinkling of video games make it comfy. Â Me? Â I'm here for the food and with one visit I was sold. Â My meal? Â I ordered the grilled chicked Greek wrap. Â First - WHOPPER! Â I ate half and took the other half with me. Â A great combo of chicken, olives, feta cheese, lettuce and dressing. Â It came with onion rings which were just a step below huge and they came piping hot! Â Love piping hot side dishes. Â As a side-kicker I ordered the Pat & Dandy's special - a Big Pretzel with jalapeno cheese injected into it as filling. Â The pretzel, again, came piping hot. Â Well,.... Â WOW! Â That darned thing was the biggest hit on the table. Â Delicious. Â My friend had a grilled chicken salad - pretty standard fare and he liked it. Â Â The price fo any and all was moderate and made the visit more than worth our while. Â For All-American food in a low-budget setting..... delicious food, really.... I'd say visit Pat & Dandy's.
