Ordered a burger the way I wanted it as opposed to the stock configuration.
Although it was a Thursday evening, a live band was warming up , and the place was maybe 2/3 full; it took almost 30 minutes to to get my food after ordering.
My waitress tried to give me updates so I could tell she was as frustrated I was ...
When my burger did finally arrive, it was missing all the parts (fried egg, cheese & bacon), that made it that specialty item. I got a plain burger with only onions.
I sent it back and it took another 10 - 15 to come back to the table.
Although it was now the signature burger I asked for, it was however the very burger I'd sent back ... I don't know if that's illegal or not, but it's certainly not desired or what one might call best practices.
To sum up:
Wait staff really wanted to please but was stymied by the kitchen. Although she may have miscommunicated or misunderstood the order, ultimately the kitchen dropped the ball.
Management was nowhere in evidence.
To be fair, the signature burger was poor at best and that rates one star in my book.
You can still get a great burger at Bergers for the same price as well as pride that goes in to the final product.
Avoid this place unless you crave the taste of disappointment or need to shave again before your food gets to you.
