La Casa De La Habana

La Casa is owned by the same guy who owns Port Royal on Secor Rd, but La Case is the more up-scale location. Everything from the decor to the prices are more expensive at La Casa. There is no dress code, but most people who frequent La Casa are generally well dressed. (A lot of attorneys, judges and businessmen frequent). Not necessarily in suits, but slacks and a polo at the least. I felt weird a few times walking in with my jeans and t-shirt.

The same smoke that sells for $7.50 at Port Royal goes for $8.50 at La Casa. But the old addage "you get what you pay for" holds true for this place. There are several leather chairs and couches, two lounge areas with flat screen televisions (one of them in a loft-style upper floor), climate controlled humidors for rent, a liquor bar and even a shower if you want to wash up and change clothes before heading home or back to work. All the extras make it worth the extra $1 or $2 per smoke, but since I'm not in need of all that, I tend to Port Royal.

Don't ask the counter guys for help unless Kyle is there. Everyone else I've encountered working there seems less than knowledgeable and not really interested in providing advice.
