Empire Sushi

I used to work at the BSO and would drive here for lunch. I loved it here, always had the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and miso soup for $12 for lunch, and would be completely satisfied. My husband and I would come here for dates and he became a sushi fan because of Empire. We literally tried almost every roll. Godzilla roll is sooooo good, don't be afraid to try anything! The staff were friendly with us, even brought out their kids in the evening to try to talk to us. Cute. We were pretty loyal there, even though we lived in Miramar. The cheesecake is awesome, we loved it so much! After stuffing our faces and having tons of leftovers we never had a bill over $75. For a lot of good sushi, that's pretty cheap. I now live in Texas and for as much sushi as we usually got (12 rolls) it's about $150. I miss Empire.

This is some of the best sushi in south Florida. We order delivery from Empire at least once a week and it is amazing. The spicy crunch bowl is crunchy, fresh and delicious every time. The rolls (special or regular) are the perfect size. Their rice is always sticky and moist. The fish is fresh and some of the best quality around. It rivals any great sushi joint AND they deliver. Fast, fresh and consistently good. What more could you ask for?

It is a small family owned type sushi restaurant but way over priced for what you get.  I got a special roll and it was small and only a few pieces... at $11 it was extremely over priced.  The waitress also came over when bringing us our food and told the person I was with that the sushi maker had misheard her when she put in the order and made the wrong roll.  No problem... just remake it right?  No she tried to get my friend to just take whatever they had ended up making.  Poor service and over priced.  I wont be returning.
