Las Vegas Restaurant

There is a short supply of great lunch places in Plantation so when a co-worker suggested we go to a Cuban restaurant called Las Vegas I didn't hesitate.  The food was nothing special but I am not the biggest fan of Cuban food to begin with.  The service was quick and of course that is always appreciated when you are pressed for time.  I am happy I tried because now I can scratch it off my list of possible stops during my lunch hour.

Had lunch here a few times with coworkers and everyone enjoys. Fast service and good food. lunch specials are good deals.

I am not a Latin food fan, but my husband was whining about wanting to go here.  I decided to make it to-go.  I had ordered a Cuban sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and a pulled pork lunch platter special.  I was pleasantly surprised by the food.  The Cuban was a fat sandwich.  The only suggestion I had was that it could be a little drier.  I hate that the juices made the bread soggy on the ends.  My sister had the pulled pork sandwich, which was very good.   The bread wasn't soggy on the ends.  The pulled pork was nicely seasoned and didn't seem too fatty or soggy from sitting in the fat all day.  The black bean and rice side was good.  It wasn't salty like most places I have tried.  I didn't try the plantains, so I couldn't comment on that.

The customer service here was outstanding.  The guy in the front was very helpful and didn't mind answering any questions I had about the food.   The restaurant is very clean.  I would like to come back here the next time I am in town.
