Bokamper's Sports Bar & Grill

Walked in here yesterday at around 1 in the afternoon for a few drinks with a friend of mine. We sat down at the bar and ordered. The bar itself is very clean and the servers will all friendly. I had a vodka soda and my friend had a jack daniels with gingerale.

Although we weren't planning on eating, we kept seeing all this delicious food coming out from the kitchen so we ordered a cup of soup each. I had the french onion (which was more of a bowl) and my friend ordered the crab claw chowder. He enjoyed it so much he didn't even offer me a taste. Typical.

Anyway, our bartender was attentive, but not overbearing. It seems like people had poor experiences, but I enjoyed my time there and would return to try the grilled cheese and drink some more.

Drinks were cheap when I went. Also, it looks as though it should be by the water.

I have been to Bokampers dozens of times - and love the place overall. I went for lunch on 3/22 and was dismayed by what took place. I ordered grilled boneless wings. When the food came my order was regular wings - ok, no big deal. The waitress then comes up to me and says we don't have your order on the menu anymore - keep in mind she is saying this AFTER the food arrived, not not when I placed the order. I then ordered a small order of grilled wings, and she brought me a good sized order. The check came, and there was a $22 charge for a large wing order. All sorts of issues with ordering and getting things correctly on this day.
I chalked it up to 1 bad experience and will probably return to the place, but I will be sure to double check that what I order is indeed what is brought to my table.

came in here during football season last year to watch a game. The beer was warm, the wings were alright nothing great. But let me tell you that I hate warm beer and both beers I ordered were warm, meh, I've experienced better.
