This is definitely a 2 star review going on 3 stars and the explanation is coming.
Tony M's review is on point. Â This is a biker hangout and the patrons all seem to know each other and have a great time getting to know each other some more. Â Looks can be deceiving from the outside, the inside is pretty nice for a hole in the wall bar.
Drinks were fine for the most part. Â Since I'm not a huge beer person I ordered a cranberry and vodka - not a drop of vodka in my drink. Â I will remember to order a beer next time. Â The menu is what you'd expect from a bar like this, burgers, fries, and some Mexican options. Â We both opted for burgers. Â The woman comes back and tells us the owner/manager is traveling so they don't have the fresh made guacamole or the onion rings they offered on the menu - not a good start. Â
The burgers were tasty, served on fresh ciabatta rolls (not expecting that), the burger to bun ratio was a little off - need more burger for the bun. Â Good amount of bacon on the bacon burger and the fries were okay.
We will give them another shot and I hope to update this review to a solid 3 on a future visit.
The End Pub & Grub is a really cool joint and the food menu isn't bad at all, it's a known biker hangout and has a regular clientele that frequent the place. Â It has a full bar and beers on tap as well, but if you're looking for microbrew's on tap you won't find them here. Â This is about as good as it gets and is definitely a great hole in the wall bar. Â They have a web-connected jukebox a pool table and plenty of seating at the bar, tables and booths. Â They typically have live rock & rockabilly bands and there is room to dance if you catch the urge. Â Great place to kick back enjoy music and have a beer with your wings!
