Very cute spot for dessert, coffee, light dinner, or lunch.
Everything Dolce is easy to find on Central Ave just past 9th/MLK. Parking was a breeze even with a Rays game going on down the street. The interior is nice and cozy and there is a good sized courtyard on the side with places to sit and watch live music, which happens every night.
My friend and I decided to order a light dinner before digging into the desserts (which is really why we came). They do serve wine and beer. Prices and selection are good. We both we given the low down on all the items in the dessert cases. My friend ordered an ice coffee which was flavored with cookie dough syrup. Who knew? Â We decided to share two sandwiches, the Patron and the Chicken Salad. They split the sandwiches for us in the kitchen and even split the sides for us. Above and beyond. The sandwiches were very good. Not over sized but just right. My friend raved about the potato salad and I liked that I could get fresh fruit with my meal.
Throughout our experience service was warm and friendly. Definitely a very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
The desserts were very good. They have a pastry chef who knows what he's doing. Everything is portioned for one. Cute little mini cakes, etc. We had the chocolate cigar, a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie, and a brownie to sample. The cookie was surprisingly light with a nice peanut butter flavor. The chocolate cigar was good but I think it would have been better warmed slightly. It is kept in a refrigerator case which is not the best for maintaining the flakiness of the dough. It did have a nice chocolate flavor set off with cinnamon, yum! The brownie was great too. A nice combination of fudgy and cakey with a strong chocolate flavor. There were chocolate chips/pieces in the brownie and a chocolate glaze over the top.
Overall, I really liked this place. I can't wait to return and try more desserts!
I stopped by today to get some goodies for an office. Inside this little shop is inviting and their display case looked fantastic.
I picked out a dozen various cookies and an espresso chip gluten free cookie for myself. I must say, If this is what gluten free tastes like I'm a fan.
I also ordered a cinnamon cafe con leche, which was quite tasty-it might have been a little top sweet for me, but with a little less sugar it would have been spot on.
I hope this little independent sweet shop survives. Â I was feelin' the vibe and the woman who helped me was incredibly friendly.
I really want this place to work, survive and prosper. But I feel like it's dealing with an identity crisis.
The owner may be a bit fish out of water but he gets a major E for effort in his attempt to bring a good Italian dessert bar to the burg.
Service was an issue when I was there.
Let me paint a picture.
I walk in with my bestie. Â We order one cafe, one glass of wine, two desserts. (technically 4 but 2 for the immediate and 2 to go).
We get the desserts. Â Lady working behind the bar can't open the wine. Â Beyond frustrated. Â I said she could serve me another white, but she was determined. Â It was an eye sore and ear sore of drama.
The cafe still had not been started.
Two ladies walk in.
She takes their orders. Â They order two coffees & one dessert. Â
Lady behind bar gets flustered, leaves the wine, doesn't make our cafe and starts on their coffees.
We sit there about 30 mins with our desserts that we haven't started yet. We were waiting on our drinks.
So I go up to the counter and ask if we could please get ours. 10 excuses. Â A lot of drama for only 4 people in a cafe.
Owner walks in and looks as if the world has defeated him. Really nice but didn't see the issues that transpired. Â
I think the place needs a litte help. I would like to venture back in one day and try their sandwiches or salads and music at night. Â But I think maybe front of house needs some help.
Desserts: Â Overall - we ordered 4. Two for there, two for home to take to our husbands.
My besties was amazing. Mine was so over sweet, I had trouble with it and actually took most of it home. I really wanted to eat the whole thing but it was overkill.
I brought home my box and didn't check it there (shame on me). Â Only one dessert in the box and not two like we ordered and paid for. I wasn't driving back but it was an expensive lesson.
I will go back and try it again because I see other reviews that were great. I want it to succeed.
My husband and I LOVE Everything Dolce. Whenever we want to indulge or we're celebrating something, we go there. So far we've tried cannoli, chocolate cigar, apple pie, cherry pie, sorbetto, hot chocolate, and cappuccino. Everything tastes amazing. Add great customer service, comfortable atmosphere, and very reasonable prices, and you have the most perfect dessert spot in town. I can't wait to have apple pie there for my birthday next month!
Review Source:I was sad to see Cafe Bohemia close, but was excited to see a dessert place open in it's place. After months of driving by, I finally stopped in after dinner last week.
You are greeted by a big case of amazing looking desserts. They're wrapped up in plastic, which doesn't do much for the visual appeal, but I appreciate them keeping them fresh. They have everything from cookies to pastries to cakes. We finally settled on a german chocolate cake and a chocolate covered cheesecake. Both were HUGE and it took us two nights to eat them. At $5 each it was a pretty good deal. Each dessert was delicious. The german chocolate cake had lots of coconut, which is my favorite part of the cake. The cheesecake was thick and creamy. They have their own pastry chef...I can't remember his name, but apparently he used to work for Donald Trump?
They also still have sandwiches, beer, wine and coffee. I noticed a lot of the sandwiches were the same ones Cafe Bohemia had.
The owners were the ones who helped us and we had a lovely conversation with them as they rang us up. Can't beat that personal connection with your customers. They were really friendly and nice.
Will definitely be back when the sweet tooth hits!
I recently moved to St.pete from the Tampa area and so far it's been a great experience. I came across this place driving up central ave. They have live music everyday, local art on the walls and awesome pastries! The coffee is from a local place and is spectacular. The place is still being renovated but it seems very promising. Must check this place out if you're in town.
The place is also pet friendly and has free wifi.
Why 4 stars? Because there's nothing like a friendly, neighborhood coffee shop.

Never heard of Everything Dolce, but I think they will be getting my business from now on when I am need of caffeine in St Pete. I went with a Cafe Con Leche, and it was certainly delicious. The best part, was the banter between myself and the people behind the counter, as I awaited my sugary goodness. Friendliness is awesome.
And sugary, it was. He asked me if I wanted it sweet (uh, yes... every single time, sir) and he hooked it up. That was one delicious CCL, and it wasn't even made by a Cuban!
Job well done, new favorite coffee shop in St Pete.
