Visiting SA. We went all the way here, and it was dead. Expected a bit more, considering the okay reviews on Yelp. They were not playing hiphop. It was weird because it is the middle of a strip mall. Friday nights in SA are not that good.

Scariest day of my life. I saw a woman get run over and guns being shot in front of me. Im freaken traumatized. I left there crying and running for my life. The back part is nothing but ghetto. I dont think i will ever be going out after last night.

3 different types of music, Live Rock, Hip Hop, and Techno.  Drinks are decent, although a little weak, and there is a cover charge, that I'm not impressed with paying, but it is one of a kind for the area...

Well....what can I say? :) I had an excellent night with a good friend who was visiting from my home town. There are varities in music available and it seems like there's "a little bit of everyone, for everyone".

On weekends drinks were rather expensive, but I'm not a big drinker so it didn't really matter. I've gone on their $2 Tuesdays YEARS ago, not sure if they still do that. Looks like they're really keeping up.

It is a young crowd...so be prepared :) other than that, have a blast!

Wow this place is like the Chuck E. Cheese for adults minus the games and pizza. Ok, maybe not, but the Falls has everything you want in a night club.

Awesome staff, live music in the front room, hip hop in the back room, romantic outdoor patio setting, romantic back -back lounge room and bathroom attendants!!! Seriously, this place is amazing. Also, ladies? There are like 5 dudes to every 1 chick here. Your odds are looking really good for some casual dancing and drinks here.

The Falls is, hands-down, my FAVORITE place to go out for drinks, great club music, and just chill. I know. "Chill" at a club? Honestly, the outdoor patio IS chill, and that's where I like to sit. I'm not much of a clubby dancer anymore, that's why I prefer the patio. Doesn't mean I don't hit up the dance floor when my jam's on! =P

They have live music almost always too. The entrance room usually has a local rock/alternative band playing. The patio might have a different band play, or a DJ.

I've met the owner/general manager, Sal, and he is super cool. Very nice and laid back kinda guy =)

If you've never been, and you're on the lookout for a new hot spot, definitely check this place out!

The Falls is pretty cool as San Antonio night clubs go...
    2$ Tuesday is my Fav...

What's not to like about $2 drinks and R&B and Hip-Hop on a Tuesday night!?
The front room usually has a rock band playing but there is R&B and Hip-Hop in the back...

Hot girls are few and far between but there are a few floating around here and there (still not bad for a Tuesday night in SA)

They even have a poker room now!!
and a Bar on the Patio with the occasional live band

The Falls is at its peak when Drive hit the stage. Great drink specials, great music, and a sense of camaraderie that I'm unsure I've encountered at another club. It's a multifaceted locale that I have always enjoyed.

I was in town visiting and a buddy and I came here on a Tuesday night.  Not only were the drinks cheap but the bar was packed with a decent crowd.  They also had a bar area, dance club and a patio area so you could bounce around.

Celebrating new years. Instantly on my "Come Back Regularly" spots. There's some freaks out there. This 1 girl was dancing and had a Janet Jackson moment. I ain't lying, her boob really popped out her dress, and then saw her and another girl giving these 2 guys lap dances. Boy, but n e wayz, drink prices aren't bad at all. Would pay 6 or 7 at a Austin bar, but these joints I was throwing down were under $5. This club is officially my new fav club 2 go 2. Matter of fact, this is the 1st ever bar/club I've ever been 2 since moving 2 San Antonio, but I'ma check out Saga and a few joints Downtown, but as of now, this is my spot, and best thing of all, NO ROACHES! And I ain't only talking bout the disgusting insects that hangout at Dillingers in Downtown San Marcos. (Read my reviews bout Dillingers.)

okay lets get this straight if you go out to the popular clubs you will find many guys who think they have short man syndrome as well think they are some total douche bag v neck wearing jersey shore referring tool.

With that being said the Women are beautiful,  there are some dimes that come out to this place for sure but im just not into the atmosphere.
drink specials were not bad but im not a bud light kinda drinker so i give three stars to the ladies not the place

Douche circus. I'm not sure what this place is trying to accomplish, but its not working. For me, at least. Prepare your eyes for cheap polyester Forever 21/Charlotte Russe attire, stilettos a la Adult Megaplex, caked on makeup, a sea of Affliction T's plus $30,000 millionaire WANNA BE's (that's low). If you like the run-of-the-mill San Antonio trashy "ultra lounge" scene, or you want to pick up some "Strange", you will love this place. Enjoy.

I think the number of check-ins I have here speaks for itself.  The Falls has pretty much everything I need for a great night out with friends. Yes, I have spent several Halloweens and New Years there and for a good reason. It's one of the few places I don't mind paying a cover. Buuuuut, if go on Friday, you can check in I think using Yelp or Facebook and you won't have to pay one! At least I think they still have that going anyway.

The main area when you walk in has 2 bars, there are two bars in the back (my friends and I affectionately call it the "boom boom room") and another one on the patio. Needless to say, you shouldn't have to wait very long for a drink. If you do, you must be talking to someone or otherwise not doing a very good job of letting know that you want something.  I think they have some kind of drink special every night but Saturday so that certainly helps.

As far as music goes, you can almost always expect a great local rock band to be playing in the main area every Friday and Saturday and some of the other nights too. In the backroom they have hip hop/rap going on with a DJ. Sometimes they'll even have someone playing acoustic out on the patio too. If you like local rock bands, they do the Falls Summer Concert series which is definitely worth going to. I'm not much into the UFC thing but they always have the fights on.

There's a couple things to note if you're going to go... If you come on a Thursday/Friday/Saturday (or when they have a big event) get here early if you want a seat/table and if you don't want to park by Hobby Lobby. I have a secret parking place, but it'll cost you to get it out of me :)  I've heard/saw something about a dress code but I think just so long as you don't show up looking like you've been living out of a cardboard box for the past week then you should be fine. In other words, just put forth a hint of effort when you get dressed.

Why are you still reading this review? Get over to the Falls!

Went there on a Tuesday...only $2.50 drinks and there was a live rock cover band. If rock isn't your thing, there's a hip hop club in the back that plays a variety of good dancing music. Plus there's a really good Mexican restaurant next door, open 24hrs for those drunken munchies. Only downfall, it gets overly crowded in both parts and you may need to call ahead cuz there's a dress code. Oh, and a $5 cover charge.

Eeeesh.  Not my style.  Maybe it's just me.  Did somebody say meat market??  That's all I've got.  I'd rather do a cool bar for cold beers with fun friends.  Just sayin.

Walked away from another bar in the area N.O.  Bar and should have gone to The Falls first and only! They have everything! This was a Monday night and Lots of chicks , poker, live band , and much more games than N.O. Just nearby and remember next door is a great little Mexican restaurant that is open 24/7.

I've been there three times and I am just now getting around to writing a review.  I gave it five stars, because I really couldn't think of a bad experience or any problem that I have ever had there.  The only thing I came up with that they could possibly improve upon would be to offer free beer.  I don't think that is a realistic expectation, so I went with a 5 star rating....  :)

Several other reviews have described the place to a "T" so I won't get into that.  I will just add that I have seen cover bands and bands that play their own material here.  Some were from SA (DRIVE!) and some were from LA.  I went last night and they had a REALLY awesome cover band with a really awesome guitarist - we had a GREAT time.

Prices are reasonable and there is a $5 cover charge.

The crowd is a bit eclectic but everyone is cool - never had a problem there.

Live music, so expect it to be very loud.

The Falls is a good place to go if you're one of two groups: live rock/metal fan or ghetto rap/hip-hop fan. Not really sure how those two themes got thrown together to make this club. HOWEVER, it works well together with a welcoming atmosphere in both rooms and a very attentive bar staff. The place was packed and I didn't wait more than 2 minutes for a drink (and I'm a guy).

The band was great (Metal Shop), good sound setup so it wasn't too loud and good entertainers.

The DJ had a good mix but kept a constant flow of hood hip-hop handy. The dance floor was packed by about midnight and they had to break it up when they closed at 2.

Girl to guy ratio was about 2 guys to 1 girl. Drink prices were pretty good, and mixed drinks were strong ($3.50 bottles of beer, $6 mixed drinks)

Overall, a good place to go for a Saturday night ($5 cover after 9) for all crowds.

This place is located near the Embassy Theaters on 281 and Bitters. There is a $5 cover on Saturdays. It has a several rooms and an outdoor patio that cater to a wide range of people. The first room is pretty large and features 2 bars, several couches and chairs to lounge in, an elevated stage for the live band, and some pool tables in a corner. The past couple of times we did go there, the cover bands they had played mainly rock. Then there is a sm hallway that leads you past some restrooms into another room in the back that is more of a club atmosphere. There is a pretty big dance floor, 2 more bars, several flat screens playing music videos, and some tables and chairs as well. The music always seems to be hip hop and gets the crowd going. Of course you have a good mix of people in this room, mainly homies and hoochies. Nothing wrong with that, just saying. Then you can walk outside onto the patio and it leads you back into the front room that has the live band. The patio of course is more chill. Overall, this is a pretty cool place to chill if there is a good band. Other than that, I probably wouldn't go there.

I can't believe that I loved this place!! Just background. I'm a contract worker so I travel alot and I love to dance. Honestly have to say that I really enjoyed my visit here. Just got home. There's a rock band in front.. I'm not a rock fan..Nuff said. then go past the bathrooms and there's a DJ that plays top 40, hip hop stuff. Can't believe he actually plays through the whole song!! Unlike alot of new school DJs who sample everything so as soon as you get into the song.. boom they switch to something else. Nice diverse group of people there. Hit the patio for fresh air.I danced the night away. Loved it loved it.. But.. no bar had any wine?.. That's ok. Miller Lite it is. Check it out!!

I don't remember much about this place except the receipt in pocket had a very small tab and I closed the place down and picked up a hottie at the bar. Automatic 5 stars!

To tell you the truth I feel good walking into this bar. I got this thing that whenever I enter a barI walk directly to the bathroom (gettin ready for game time) and to the bathroom I scope out the place. On my way, there is always beautiful women to smile at, and the fellas don't give any attitude.

On a firday, there is always a good band playing in the front room. If I just want to chill and start talking to people I always hang out in the front room. It has 2 bars which help relieve traffic, and also servers go around delivering your drinks. Price on the drinks are comparable to any other bar, but the waitreses are really beautiful, so i just keep buying!

The back room is a dance room. They play TOPS (mainly hip hop and rnb). I'm pretty picky on what I listen to, I can honestly say they play a good selections. And the dj has enough sense to play the right music at the right time for the mood (for my fellow mixers out there). So if i've had a lot to drink (and can't hold a conversation anymore) I just spend most of my time in the back room. (hopefully my drunk dance moves do the talking) There's enough room for anybody and everybody. It's funny seeing the fellaz just chill on the outskirts of the dance floor just watching the ladies get their groove on on the dance floor.

Only downside is it closes a little too early. Would be nice if it went a little longer (that's what she said)

This bar has somewhat of a personality disorder. Walk in to find a huge space filled with tattoos, one Mohawk (yeah, there's really just one dude), a waterfall behind a huge bar (get it?), another bar, smaller pool table area, and then a big stage for bands to perform.

If you walk through the first big room towards the bathroom and cig machine you will find a hallway that leads to another big space and bar. It's a completely different club with a completely different atmosphere, clientele and music. What I find hilarious is that after you pass the OG bar's bathrooms, you come upon the new bar's bathrooms... like four feet away. It's funny because I guess they sort of want to create a more club-like atmosphere (success) so these shiny new bathrooms have an attendant. Weird. I didn't need body spray, deodorant, bobby pins, chewing gum, mints or kittens in the bathroom two steps down, but this one yes! Just kidding about the kitties.

The club part is a nice amount of space too. There are two bars--one smaller one as you walk in and one long one on the opposite wall. In the middle lies a dance floor with lasers, flashing lights and a large enough space to get your booty shakin' on. Like I said, completely different.

I'm a fan though. Some of the clientele can be kind of cheesy, but it is usually a good-looking crowd. And you know if your posse rolls deep then who really cares anyway, right? I'm a bit of a bar hopper so this makes it easy for me. When I am tired of listening to cover after cover and am feeling flighty, I can saunter on over to get my groove on. It's been known to happen after a few drinks..
