Great restaurant, I like how they divided the restaurant by being upstairs and the bar is downstairs

Oh my goodness!  The shrimp and grits were amazing!  Great wine selection and the service was outstanding. I also had the cold avocado and lump crab 'soup' and I could have eaten a pool full. It was outstanding and there was enough lump crab for every last spoonful!  Only been here once but I'll be back. Take a shot, make a reservation and ENJOY!

The food is not outstanding but it's generally solid quality and we kept Silo in our rotation, but not any more. I received a book which contained a certificate for a free entree and decided to use it for a late lunch (I saw 3 or 4 other tables seated). After our meal, it took 20 minutes to get our check. My husband felt that it was clear that we were being treated shabbily because of the coupon. On top of that, the waiter added the tip to the meal, which I believe is not legal unless the certificate or menu tell you it will be done. I didn't complain because I actually leave at least 25% when I use a coupon, and he added 18%. In any event, I think it reflects poorly on an establishment if they treat customers poorly because they use a coupon that is offered.
