Think QDoba or Chipotle, but with frozen yogurt. The AC was out, and they are still working out the kinks of just opening. All in all it was decent and the price was ok. I live close and will probably try it again, but nothing special or unique going on here. Didn't like the fact they had no bottles of hot sauce available.
Review Source:I was excited to see this place opening. It is about 2 miles closer to me than the closest Qdoba, and that is very convenient.
I went in at lunch time. The tables were almost all full, and there were a couple people in line. I chose the burrito. I got chicken, queso and almost all the other fixings. The burrito was generously portioned and everything seemed fresh. The cashier was friendly and struck up conversation. He also gave me a Buy 9, get the 10th free card.
I did take out. When I got home I was very pleased. The ingredients tasted fresh. The chicken was seasoned well. I most definitely will be going back.
Basically, it's a Qdoba clone, or Moe's Southwest Grill clone. Â Mexican fast food. Â You are served out of steam-trays and cold-trays, as the counter-person assembles your order with the toppings and sides that you want. Â
Choose a burrito, a taco salad, or a quesadilla. Â Choose your meat: beef, chicken or pork. Â Choose your toppings, sides, drink, chips. Â Guacamole topping costs extra. Â Pay at the end of the line and take your tray to a table, or take your to-go order with you.
There are some bottled drinks, and a self-serve soda machine.
According to their web site, there are only 2 locations in the chain, (the other is downtown Indy) but the decor is kind of corporate-slick and franchise looking. Â It might be locally-owned and family-owned (I don't know for sure), but it doesn't look mom-and-pop, it looks corporate.
There is a frozen yogurt dispenser, with plenty of sweet toppings and fruit toppings and sweet sauces, for $.49/ounce  (which is a tad more expensive than La Paix, I think).
They must have worked out the kinks mentioned by the previous reviewer. Â Air-conditioning was fine. Â Men's room was very clean. Â Front dining area is clean.
TV up in the corner.
Not worth going out of your way for. Â But if you're in the area and want fast food Mexican (ala Qdoba or Moe's) then this fills the bill.
If you want a nice sit-down Mexican restaurant with waiter service, I would recommend Chile Verde, almost directly across the street in the Marsh shopping center.
They serve breakfast.
They have a catering menu (see their web site) with optional delivery/setup of catered items.
