Love going to this place, usually go saturdays for lunch after work. The Tacos are outstanding, they bring em out plain and have a full salsa bar in the back so you can add whatever you like. Rest of the menu is good too. Very reasonably priced drinks, very friendly wait staff.

Only problem is the female bartender sometimes wont accept valid out of state ID. This happened to me shortly after moving to colorado. However the reason shes cautious is i guess she got busted for something of that nature. Brought my passport until i got my colorado one.

We had an hour to kill in this part of town, so I searched Yelp for a casual late lunch spot.  We pulled in at 2:00 on a Monday and were greeted by a friendly bartender and about a dozen patrons ranging in age from 6 to 76.

I was disappointed to find that the "classic bar/grille food at excellent prices...made with fresh ingredients" I was expecting after reading their website has recently been replaced by "La Hacienda Traditional Mexican Food" (...sigh). Knowing that its pretty much impossible to mess up a cheeseburger, we ordered two of them (both with fries, please!) and two $2 pints of Bud.  There was no "what kind of cheese would you like?" or "how do you want it cooked?", but there was great, friendly service with a smile.  The burgers were previously frozen, the "cheese" wasn't really cheese and the iceberg lettuce was shredded, which made me giggle a little, but we were hungry, it tasted good and we ate it all.

This is a cool little place, the type of place that I love because its cheap (lunch for two, with drinks for $20), its simple (3 beers on tap: Bud, Bud Light and Shock Top) and it appreciates the regulars ($2 pints of Bud and Bud Light all day, er'day).  I can picture it jumping on a Saturday night with live rock'n'roll and a packed dance floor, parking lot full of hotrods...but I'll never know.  This is not my neck of the woods and not worth the drive, but it might become your new favorite neighborhood dive.

We went there on a Wednesday night.  There was only about 4 other people at the bar and in the 3 hours we were there not many more people showed up.  This is too bad.  This is a fun little place with regulars who buy shots for the whole bar (not kidding) and a bartender who is very friendly and makes you feel like a regular right away.  The food was very good.  My boyfriend had a steak and said it was one of the best he has had in a while.
I think the location of this bar is the reason that it is so quiet.  If you are looking for a good little dive bar with good food and friendly people, I highly recommend this place.

One of my colleagues from work used to play bass in a now-nonexistent local band who shall remain nameless (the initials were MMCB if that helps any). As ardent fans (no, despite persistent rumors to the contrary we were not groupies!), my best friend and I saw them play at many places. But I think I like Fat Fenders the best.

When I was just a little cutie, I would pass by this establishment on the school bus every day (I think it was called something else back that long ago), and wondered what went on in there. Well, now I know!

Step inside and you are greeted with what may seem like typical bar decor - pool tables, an admittedly well-stocked jukebox, a large dance floor for perfecting your two-step, Electric Slide or what-have-you, and so on.

But the service and camaraderie at Fat Fenders are what sets it apart. Great people and an all-around good time will ensure your continued patronage.

Yea, they do have some bar food there but I'm not sure if I've ever tried it. Hey, I told you I always have a good time!

I'm not a huge bar person anymore but I went to a party here a couple of weeks ago and I will say I was very pleasantly surprised. The bar is a bar, it has a stage for live music and the atmosphere was very low key. Everyone in the bar, including the staff was very welcoming and I would have no problem going there with the girlfriend for that matter. The most impressive part however was the food. "Frank" who was the cook/owner came out to help us get food. He told me he buys everything fresh everyday and to just tell him what I wanted. Taken aback I ordered some barbecue. Not too much later I was greeted with jalapeno baked beans, a pork barbecue with a mango barbecue sauce, rolls, and bread pudding. Everything was incredible, I will certainly be back for more. Best part? The price was less than $10, go check this place out immediately.

Fat fenders may be a hot-rod dive bar in Englewood, but it is run by a family who appreciates good food and value. I'd put their fat rib-eye steaks up against just about any in the city. The only difference between these perfectly prepared (no need for sauce on these babies!) steaks and one you'd get at a downtown steakhouse is price.

And don't get me started on the racks of ribs. Ever see the opening to the Flinstones cartoon where the dinosaur ribs tip the car over at the drive-thu?

The crowd here is mixed, but generally good-natured, friendly working class people who would welcome a conversation over a cold beer.

It amazes me, frankly, that the Three-Kings and Skylark Lounge crowd don't know about this place. Hot rods, rock-n-roll, cold beer and thick, juicy steaks - that is what Fat Fenders is all about.

Stopped in Fat Fenders with a friend of mine.  We were in the neighborhood to pick up his motorcycle from the shop, but the shop was closed for lunch.

This bar is located in a mostly industrial area, but there is also a residential neighborhood close by.  My impression is this is a neighborhood place and all eyes were on the new guys when we walked in.  It's definitely a dive bar with a cool vibe and a hot rod theme.  The tap beer selection was limited to Bud products, actually just bud since they were out of Bud Light and the other selection (I forget which Bud product it was).

We didn't order any food, but the burgers were being raved about by the regulars.  I'll need to go back to check this out.  There is a large dance floor and looks to have live music from time to time.  The juke box had a great selection of music as well.  All in all it looks to be a fun place.
