The Filling Station more than qualifies as a local go-to pub for locals. It will stand  on its own proudly by only serving pub grub and longstanding, traditional brews.  IPA and other craft beers are not sought.

The meals I've eaten at TFS are real good.  Buffalo chicken wraps are plentiful and served up with corn chips and salsa.  They serve a wedge salad that ranks with some of the finer establishments in dining and its $5 - tasty goodness!  Burgers are juicy and large; the chili is served in crock bowls and has good thickness, is meaty and beanie.  The quesadilla wrap ranks right up there too.

What is bothersome for me is any place where the patrons rule the roost and smoke just outside the front door.  There is a tattoo parlor and a pizza joint in the same strip mall and, from what I see, everyone knows everyone.  Good stuff if your The FIlling Station and the other two; patrons are patrons.  $$$ Cha-ching.  But to walk towards and into TFS through a haze of smoke at most any hour, lunch, dinner or for late night drinks isn't my slice-o-pie.

The bartenders are casual but efficient.  They go out of their way to ask your name which is very nice.  The inside is basic neighborhood pub, one big arrsss room with tables.  A jukebox, golden tee golf and ATM machine are wall staples.  It's a bar. It's a pub with food.  Hey!  It could be your Filling Station.  Try it out but be sure you've punched your time card at the factory before heading in.  Hint Hint......

This is a bar that reminds me of my hometown. Total blue collar, bucket of domestic bar, with decent grub and Angie's pizza next door (absolutely delicious at the end of the night!).

The staff? Pretty good. Attentive. Beer at the ready when I raise my hand, asking for another bottle.

The crowd? A mixed crowd - young and old, hip and square. Come here, grab a bucket of domestic, order some chicken strips, and people watch.

I always have a good time at the Filler. When I don't feel like going downtown, it's close to home, prices are good, the bartenders are always friendly, and there's always someone I know there..

This place is one of our goto local bars. Ever since we moved into our new place we have been coming here to have a few cold ones and let off some steam. The regulars consist of the more laid back blue collar types so don't come in expecting a wine list or anything more than the typical divey bar fare. The bartenders have always been friendly and quick and there has only been one or two occasions where there weren't a couple seats waiting for us at the bar. The jukebox is usually going and there are a couple pool tables with decent cues in the back corner and they have karaoke on certain nights (can't remember which). If you find yourself here and you're getting the munchies I'd suggest the wings and pizza. I would give it 5 stars if their beer selection was more extensive but other than that you cant really go wrong if you're looking for a quick domestic beer or ten without the cost and crowdedness of some of the other bars in the area.
