Really huge building. Very Well equipped with flatscreen and projector screens like it's cool. The place was busy, we had to wait ~15 minutes for our party of 4 to be seated at around 7:15 pm. Thursday night special was half off wine bottles. The girls were drinking 11 dollar bottles of malbec that they said were pretty damn good for 11 bucks.

I was happy because this place doesn't just have a million different kinds of lager, like is typical for a bar with a lot of taps around here. They actually have varieties of beer including two IPA's. We basically went there to watch the Rangers vs. Bruins. The bar is like a closet Rangers bar, because there were like a handful of people wearing rangers gear, but then when they scored he whole place blew up with cheers. I'm a bitter Devil's fan so when the Bruins scored it was me and like one other person cheering / clapping.

We ordered pretzel bites, fried pickles, buffalo wings (bone in), and french fries. Everything was really good, the fried pickle slices were a little too thick, but they were still just fine. We didn't order an actual meal since we were there to see the games not just eat dinner.

One complaint that we did have is that the wine deal was not explained to one of the girls before they purchased a single glass of wine for $7.50 , like come on man... don't let someone just throw their money away when you're the bartender, their going to hate you a little bit for that. Other than that our server and bartenders were spot on. I'd definitely go back here to drink some beer, or to watch the game, or even better... do both.

Finally made it over to this place for one thing...fish tacos.  The staff was very friendly.   We ordered the pretzel bites to start.  Of course pretzels and beers always go well together.  I can't seem to remember what everyone else ordered but my group was pleased.  My fish tacos were delicious.  I will go back and write a better review and include my pics.

I've been here twice now and I really like it.

First time, just for drinks and it was dead! Granted, it was a Thursday.

Second time, much more happening (Friday night). We were told there was a 30 minute wait for a table, so we just grabbed a hightop table in the bar area. A dirty martini for me, and a blue moon for him...and an order of boneless buffalo wings and a cobb salad. The salad is HUGE, and comes composed in a tower, ala tuna tartar. After I smashed it down, it exploded into the bowl it was served in...I seriously think that it was the refilling bowl...like when Garfield dreams of lasagna. I must have been eating it for a solid hour before I had to throw in the towel because it simply wasn't disappearing! The green goddess dressing it came with was delicious, though not needed because the ingedients (lettuce, bacon, chicken, egg, tomato) are so plentiful and flavorful that dressing just becomes an accessory. My friend said his wings were good too.

I had a few friends meet me here for a low key night before a really wild weekend. overall, I'd say the food, drinks and service are very solid. It's a great neighborhood place...no pretentiousness and not expensive.

The bar area is cramped and loud. And the DJ was awful. Those would be my two negative marks. Otherwise, nice little spot.

    The service sucked today.
I start my night off with a Guinness.  I found hair in my drink.   I asked for a new mug, (he gets me a new mug but it was not filled with beer)  They also didn't really apologize.  They eventually got me a mug of beer but I had to ask again.
They brought out food.  They Forgot plates. They  Forgot utensils. They  Forgot Napkins.
I was half done with my food when they finally brought me a fork and some napkins.  they never brought me a plate
I dropped my fork on the ground, the manager comes over and tells me they will replace it.  I had to ask for them to replace it.
I also found myself waving and making eye contact for a good 3 minutes straight before a waiter came by.

Cool, modern place located in an otherwise dull area. Been there a handful of times and the nachos and burgers have never let me down. Went for lunch recently to check out the lunch menu.. tried the pulled pork sandwich (Chicago something...) and it was delicious. Half price appetizers after 10 is a far superior to Crapplebee's. Fireside definitely gives Moore's Tavern a run for its money.

Boring ! OK gr8 TV placement Ordered a beer from a frenetic bartender maybe bar was half full and not much doing in restaurant what was her problem,? I guess it was the other poser bartender preening and playing busy. The sliders came on cold buns , no pickles, onion and were not special .Fries were run of the mill frozen type you can buy anyplace..Thanks but no thanks .Had to send up a flare to get second brew and by that time I lost interest.

I really enjoyed this place. My wife went here for a quick meeting with her friend and had to tell me about it. She took me on 2/19/12, and i am stuffed. I had great fish tacos and she had a messy but good shrimp sandwich. The best part of the night had to be the tater tot appy and giant tray of nachos!  The taste was unreal and you can totally tell everything is made from scratch. Overall really good food, open late, great specials and happy hour. Busy and loud but well worth it!!  Ask for coco the hostess.

I was quite excited to try this place and since it has seemed busy from the day they opened I had high expectations. I was quite surprised to see it getting mediocre reviews here on Yelp before I even went.  My friend and I went on a Monday night and it wasn't particularly busy. The place is really pretty inside and clearly a lot of attention was paid to making the place look nice.  The sports murals on the walls are a little odd but not that big a deal. Both the restaurant and bar side were pretty empty.  We chose to eat in the dining room once the owner offered us the happy hour specials that are normally reserved for the bar area.  We were seated right in the middle of the room.  My friend and I felt so awkward since we were younger than everyone else there by about 40 years.  All of the other diners kept staring at us and it made us feel so strange.  We considered asking to switch to the bar side where maybe the patrons were a little more accepting of two tattooed mid-20s girls.  Ultimately we stayed put and then waited 10 min for our waitress to appear while a staff meeting finished up in the next room.

Unfortunately our waitress seemed to be experiencing her first day on a new planet.  Totally ditzy and couldn't answer any of our questions about the menu.  She had to run off three times to find answers for us.  Don't get me wrong, she was very nice but clearly not invested in learning about the food on the menu.  We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer with some of the $3 house wine that was for happy hour.  I had the meatball sliders and my friend ordered the chop chop cobb salad minus all the meat.  There was some debate as to if they could even do it without the meat since the salads are all pre-made.  The owner had to be consulted (???) and he said they could make one from scratch.  It certainly seemed odd that the owner would have to get involved in something like that. Our pretzels came out quickly and were pretty good.  They were more or less the kind that come frozen in a box but they were edible.  The cheese had just the right ratio of chemical "cheese" to plastic and wasn't strangely spicy.

Our entrees came shortly after that.  My friends freshly created salad was good and enormous.  She was happy with it.  My meatball sliders were just ok.  The meatballs were one step above the frozen kind but were quite bland.  They didn't really taste like anything.  The mozzarella was nicely melted but I think the bun was getting stale.  A bit crunchier than it should have been.  The accompanying chips were pretty good.  I don't know if they are made on-site or come from a bag but I liked them.  Our waitress was good about clearing plates quickly and asking about refills.

We declined to order dessert or coffee and expected our check to be delivered shortly after. The waitress then disappeared for the next 15 minutes. When she finally surfaced again she asked us again about dessert, we declined,  and she seemed offended when we asked for the check.

The check was $36 plus tip for 3 glasses of wine, pretzel bites, a salad, and some sliders.  Not too bad but  I wish the service had been better.  The food could use an upgrade too.  I might go back but I might try a different day of the week when we might not feel like we were in the dining room of a nursing home.  We absolutely were not expecting to feel so out of place with the crowd.  We were also quite excited to see that they are always open to 2am.  It is very hard to get decent food around here after 11pm.  We might be back to try the late night menu and crowd.  Fireside is going to have to step things up if they are going to continue to compete with The Cabin, Moore's Tavern, or Woody's as a local watering hole.

Would have loved to have tried it, but the staff was so rude we couldn't stay..
When looking for a chair one of the waiters/staff told us  "they're out there, see what you can find". When my dinner starts like this, where can it go??

    Bar review only.

I went for Monday night football with very low expectations after reading the few reviews here and hearing my coworkers' opinions. I think it's a great place to watch a game (Nice TVs ALL around the bar & small bar room - you can watch the game literally from any seat.

Very seldom do I say the waitress was amazing (Heather). She was friendly and attentive. My glass was never empty and she always asked how things were going but was never overbearing/annoying attentive. I constantly saw her walking around her tables checking up on her customers.

Onto the food: Wings, pork sliders, and cheeseburger sliders. Wings were okay. Pork sliders were decent. Cheeseburger sliders weren't that great. From what I have heard from several coworkers, the food isn't that good so I didn't expect much.

Beer prices were good. Overall a great place to come watch games.

This is really a 2 star place but they get a third star for showing PPV events. The place itself had such good potential, but they ruined the big bar area by putting a massive oversized bar in the middle. You go from having a big bar to an overcrowded mess. The service at the bar has been exceptionally poor as well. This is mind boggling since they always have so many people behind the bar. Great draft selection. I only have had apps here and they sucked. Also, when they have a PPV event they get free valet which bothered me at first, but then once I tried figuring out the alternative I was grateful.

I only came here for drinks and appetizers and loved it! I don't know how you can really ruin a vodka tonic, but I know places that have!

    What I loved:
appetizers were half off after 10 and lots of variety!
music was great (old school hip hop and r&b)
    crowd was sexy
There are flat screens all ver showing very game that's on!

I would def return, with hot shoes on! Great place for a date, get a drink or just watch a game.

Came on opening night for a drink (wisely avoided staying for dinner), and returned last night for dinner. Two words come to mind when describing this newly opened sports bar in Marlboro...train wreck.

We sat at the bar and opted for classic sports bar fare...wings and pretzel bites for app, burger and bbq chicken sandwich for dinner. The wings were ok, but I don't care for batter on my chicken wings. Lose the batter and offer a choice of bbq, buffalo, etc. The pretzel bites were gross. They were coated with some kind of odorless colorless greasy nastiness. I guess so the salt would stick? Eeeewwww!

My wife said the burger "is like a MacDonald's burger" and that is not a compliment. As for my bbq chicken sandwich, the chef should be embarrassed. The chicken breast was so thin I thought maybe it was sliced cold cut meat...really, I kid you not, I peeled the sandwich apart to check. The bacon slices were thicker than the chicken. The whole thing was lost in a thick bun made for a real sandwich. Give me a real piece of chicken, charge me more if you have to. And your fries just suck, no other way to describe them. Did you tell yourselves before you opened "omg, our customers are gonna love these fries"? We don't. Change the fries. We like em hot, crispy, and golden. Not cold, soggy and grayish brown.

Finally, when I'm in a sports bar and Yankees-Red Sox is on with the Red Sox fighting for their playoff lives on the final weekend of the season, I shouldn't have to ask to have it put on one of the tv's at the bar. Or be asked by the bartender what channel the game is on. And then have to ask again when the bartender forgot. And this was between the the end of the 4 pm games and the start of the Sunday night game so I wasn't asking to turn off an NFL game. In fact, most of the tv's at the bar were showing the DirecTV logo at that point because all of the late games were over.

I'll come back in a few weeks and change my review if I see improvement. But they have a lot of work to do.

The place recently was rebuilt and opened.  I initially ordered a Bloody Mary (spicy with olives) while I looked at the menu.  I received a bland Bloody Mary with a twist of lemon.  I though that was a bad sign and figured I would cut my losses and just get a burger with fries and switched to a beer.

The good news is the beer was cold.  The burger was without much flavor.  I had to ask for ketchup twice.  The first bottle had about a half tablespoon full of ketchup in it.  Very poor showing.

My wife ordered salmon with asparagus. The salmon was way overcooked and they substituted broccoli for the asparagus.  She didn't eat much.

All in all it was a bad experience. I thought that the prices were out of line for the quality of the food and drink we received.
