I like going to Flaniga's because their food is reasonably priced and consistent.
They often have drink specials and dinner specials; although I don't make special trips for the specials.
I get their ribs all the time, they have great flavor and normally fall off the bone.
My wife normally gets the salmon which is always cooked perfectly.
When we are doing take-out we typically get their salads with grilled chicken; one of my wifes favorite things is their chicken; it's never over-cooked or dry.

Whenever I am in Hallandale Beach I always stop by Flanigan's for a late meal. They have really good Burgers and Shrimp. I also like their Dolphin Fingers too. From 9pm until Close they have up to half off of their drink menu so that makes my time there even better.

Great food! When we went there they the lines went out the doors! Same thing with the next day! So one day we left early and got in line. As they say the early bed gets the worm. We got in there in about five minutes. But we went there early! They had great award winning wings and awesome rib roles.

Quick friendly service. Went to two different locations.

First time, we had Dolphin or Mahi Mahi fries and a pasta dish. Fantastic for the type of food it is. Ate a chocolate dessert that will give you goose bumps. So much sugar!!!!

Second time, different location, we had a very large group from my work. I ordered the rib rolls on a recommendation. They got everybody's orders right. Awesome comfort food cooked to make you crazy hungry!!!

It's Flanigans's....how can you go wrong! Seriously how can you go wrong.

    Summary -

Beer - cheap and on point
Food - Burger was served hot and in a timely manner and had some hell of a flavor. and cheap!!!

Service - We were a group of about 10 guys and i felt bad for out waitress...lol but the drinks and food came out in a timely manner and i never had an empty glass of had to go searching for our waitress.

So all in all if you are in need of a quick inexpensive bite that is not counter service or drive through check them out.

Everything in this place is really good.  They have fresh Mahi Mahi fish and what they are known for the baby back ribs.
Locals visit this place often and they come back for more.

Good food and service.  Portions are gigantic.  They have just about anything one would want to eat.  The ambiance is bar-like and TV's for watching sports.

Been going to the area Flanigan's for years and can always depend on a varied menu and excellent service. Tonight our group of three had Cesar salad with added crab salad (very large and tasty), half rack ribs (very good) and ,I think, the best Philly cheese steak around. The Tumbleweed onions are always a great starter. They were very busy at 7pm on a Wednesday and we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Though busy, the food came out fast and hot. We will be back..

Awesome!  They have "Joe's Specials" which are like a combo meal.  I ordered the half slab of ribs special.  It came with a huge bowl salad, fries, these delicious little garlic breads & a glass of beer, all for $16.99.  The ribs were fantastic!  Meat fell off the bones.  Salad was fresh and the curly fries were very good.  Also, our server, Rose was great!  Very upbeat and friendly.  Food came quickly.  Our party of six had meals from fish to chicken, prime rib and of course the baby backs.  Everyone's meal was beyond expectation. Well done Flanigan's. HIGHLY recommended!

I've passed by this restaurant for years and never even thought of going in. So what changed that? I saw a friend post a pic of wings from Flanigans and they were looking too good for me not to want some. So I finally made my way here after placing a to-go order.

I only had to wait for the woman in-front of me to get out of the way so I could make my way to the Take-Out counter, lol. I gave my name and my order was ready!

Now let me say this, I love wings. I mean really love wings. And I was skeptical about these wings as they looked plain upon opening my order. But I fell in love with the first bite! Their wings are amazing and 10 wasn't enough! I can't wait to return

    Something to think about.
I had an unusual experience yesterday at this location.
First, as a solo diner I was approached within 2 minutes of arrival by a guy trying to meet girls. Luckily the staff saw and intervened rescuing me from an uneasy situation. Brownie points for them.

I got the meal deal, and was asked 10oz or 16 oz beer ( 10oz  comes with the dinner) so I opted for the 16 as any self respecting beer lover would.
    I had 2 beers total.

    Good times, great food.
    Then the check comes.

Since I "upgraded to the 16 oz beer, my "meal deal " was upgraded as well. Not the food amount mind you - (I ordered and ate a half rack @15.99 on the menu as opposed to the full rack @19.99) So I was charged 19.99 because of the beer upgrade.

My second beer - unrelated to the "deal" but same size was only $1.75.

When I asked the manager (who had come to my rescue earlier and he was my hero) he told me some crazy answer like it's the corporate way or something like that. I told him it was ridiculous, he smiled uncomfortably and did nothing about it.

After delicious food and drink, good service & fun atmosphere - I left disappointed.
Would i go back - probably (and why I gave  4 stars) as I have been a customer as long as I can remember - all over South Florida, but will be sure to ask the details next time.
So the moral of my story is buy beware, and try the ribs, they are delish.

    NOW  WITH  AWESOME  BBQ  RIBS!

First, you must order a famous house drink called "The Red Death".
It's really tasty but man it will get you hammered!
Get it in the souvenir cup.

And yes the seafood is awesome but it's a little known fact that Flanigan's also really knows how to do some unbelievable Ribs.

Hands down, the best bar food in South Florida.  I am not talking about some unexpected fancy bar offering upscale dining or some faddy gastro pub that has reinvented bar fare through some regionally inspired spices or cooking techniques.  I am talking about just sitting down and eating a plate of nachos as big as a table with your fingers.  I am talking about picking up a burger, a rib, a wing, a cheese steak, etc., and just chowing down.  I am talking about taking whatever is edible or otherwise leftover from the day before, throwing it in a fryer, and giving it to you in plastic bin with a cold pitcher of cheap beer.  That is bar fare.  We may not have invented it, but we own it.  (Wait, maybe we should not be so proud about that.)

You need these things in life, and Mr. Flanigan knows how to do this and do it right.  These places are not the cleanest in the world.  Do not talk to me about the restrooms.  I agree, I try to avoid them.  Do not talk to me about the walls, with their dust coated nautical knickknacks.  I do not care.  Do not talk to me about spotty service, paper napkins, or plastic cups.  I do not care.  The food is down-right solid, and the beer specials can be dirt cheap.  That is all one needs to know.

The sleeper is the prime rib.  One would not expect a place like this to, one, have this as a menu item, and two, offer a big portion that is cooked right and full of flavor.  It is great.  What also is good is when they offer, the next day, the prime rib sandwich.  The sandwich is really good, but make sure to ask for a side of the horseradish sauce.

I have ventured all over the menu from the hamburger, to the cheese steak, to the ribs, to the prime rib, to the variety of fish sandwiches (whether grilled, fried, or blackened), to the nachos, to the kids' jurassic juniors chicken tenders, and all is consistently good.  And I always love the curly fries.

A great way to end the meal and to send your kids into orbit is the brownie dessert.  I have eaten in many restaurants in this country and others (from fancy to stand up), but I still think nothing is better for dessert than just heating up a brownie and topping it with a big scoop of ice cream, whip cream, chocolate sauce, and some sort of crunchy texture (whether that is Oreos or nuts).  It is the perfect, most simple concept, and remains the champ.  When I think of the Japanese concept of umami, this is it to me.

The food at any Flanigans is generally very good and made to perfection (as I like to put it) :). I usually get the half-rack of ribs and 6 wings combo with bleu cheese and coleslaw... which I still get, but I went there on a Monday last week and ordered a pitcher of soda and got free nachos. I became an instant fan of those nachos. It was HUGE... and since it was just me and my sister eating, we definitely could not finish it. It was good though, so now that's my staple appetizer. The ribs are so tender and delicious... couldn't ask for anything better.

The wait time is usually long since it's always packed. The service is pretty good depending on which server you have. John is a GREAT server, always attentive and very entertaining. However, I was a little disappointed with the service today, the server would disappear for periods of time.

OH I almost forgot, our nachos came a little more than a half hour after we ordered it... then 5 minutes later, our entrees came. Not good...

An avid fan of Flanigans, I was disappointed with this location. Came here on a coworker luncheon on a rainy day. Surprisingly, the place was super duper packed, but we got seated pretty quickly. The service was okay, but our food ended up coming out about 50 minutes after we ordered it. We had told the waiter that we were in a hurry only because we had an hour lunch break. Turns out by the time we got our food we had to scarf it down because we were already 30 min late.

On top of the delayed food, my coworker found something floating in her vinegar. EEEKKKK!

This is my "Cheers" bar.. where everyone knows my name.. ha ha!  Seriously though, after my first visit there when I first moved here, Todd, Heather and Patty at the bar not only remembered my beer of choice but my name.  I was hooked!  I love the team there, (Eddie, Chris, Ken, Emily B., Martin, too!).. they make the place fun and interesting every day of the week.

This place gets VERY crowded almost every day.  They have a great happy hour from 4-7 and another one from 9-midnight with 50% off all drinks at the bar... you can't go wrong here!  And to boot, the food is great - try the ribs, the rib rolls, the salmon, lemon-pepper chicken pasta, and the philly cheesesteak).

The regulars at the bar are characters as are the bartenders so just sitting at the bar affords you a great show.  Never a boring moment here.

PS.  Jukebox has tons of good music.. play Kid Rock for Heather, 90's alternative rock for Todd, and if you play Lady GaGa for Marty you'll probably see him dance!)

How can you go wrong with a liquor store attached to a bar?

The service was great and the drinks are cheap.
I ordered a pitcher of beer and the waiter asked if I wanted free wings with that. I gave him a look like "did you have to ask"?

The dolphin fingers were good and we were both full by the time our meals came. We had a few bites and the sandwiches were great.

This place is hectic in a good way and there are more than a fair share of characters at this place. Definitely an awesome dive.

Meh, this place is OK. This is where we go when we cant make up our mind on where else to go. The burgers need some help. They look great, but the flavor, is just not there. I realize that this location serves the oldest people in Hallendale, but try using just a LITTLE more salt and pepper in your cooking. It will go a long way!

I do nejoy the huge green cups that you can take home though. Thats a plus.

This place is-what-it-is - most definitely a bar & grill. As bar & grills go, its great. Great comfort food. The burgers, salads, fried shrimp, and curly fries are all great. I really like the slight spicy zip to the fried shrimp. The portions are generous. Plan to wait - because the food is good and very reasonable, the crowds come. There are lots of TVs jammed with sports in the bar area. The bartenders at this location are excellent. If you are looking for a spot to have a few brews, watch some sports, and enjoy some bar food - this is a great choice.

This place is pretty interesting. There is a lot of people watching to be done. And since they have a full bar, the entertainment just gets better.

I went here with a couple of friends and our server made our experience great. I believe his name was Ken. Anyway, his comebacks and jokes made my experience a bit better. The food was crap, so Ken and the people watching made it worthwhile.

Sorry for the delay.. With school over, I have the time now to describe my St. Patty Day at this restaurant. We had one hour to go in, but that was perfectly normal for a Green festive thing going on. The staff always greeted us. No frowny faces (who would want that on St. Pat Day?! and I'm sure there are places like that) There was a guy who was dressed in all greens and was dancing around and being silly. I liked that spirit that the restaurant is allowing their worker to be. :)

Since I never tried the ribs, I went with the half rack special, along with some wings and caesar salad (I took leftover to go, of course). Yes, I ordered a different alcoholic drink than a beer. It was a strawberry daiquiri but it was a bit watered down. No problem, at least it didn't brain freeze me. Haha.  The waitress said that you won't taste the alcohol but swears that it's in there. She was right. :)

The place was loud and crowded as I expected it to be, but they handled their customers with timing pretty well. The service was fast and the waitress didn't ignore us. I feel pretty bad about not getting her name, though.

It's a sports bar and liquor store in one, how can you go wrong?

Well, you can go wrong in one way, by getting the lunch on a weekend.  Go on a weekday between 11 and 3, and the 10oz burger is half price, as long as you order something to drink with it.  This is a pretty great deal, and since they're practically everywhere in South Florida, you won't have to waste very much of your precious gas money to get there.

Suprisingly good food. Three reasons: the ribs, the ribs, and the ribs. The sauce is great and although they're not smoked or traditional southern BBQ, they are the best you'll find at a bar and grill chain. I love the laid back nautical theme and the rowdy bar. Perfect place to come and enjoy cheap draft beers. They have great specials most days. I just got back and had the Joe's dinner special. It comes with a draft beer, caesar salad, awesome garlic rolls, fries and a half rack of ribs($14.99). That is a deal. I can barely cook a half rack of ribs for that price. My boyfriend had the fried shrimp dinner which was a little skimpy. I wouldn't reccomend it. Also, their clam chowder is mostly runny and not that many clams.

When it comes to dessert you have to try the bonzai brownie. It's SOO BIG. Enough for four people and it's just good. Ice cream, gooey brownie, fude whipped cream, oreos, and kit kat bars. YUM! They also have good deals at the raw bar. Dozen steamed clams for $8.99. Great place to come for a casual dinner and enjoy some ice cold beer. You may have to wait on the weekends.

    Dolphin Fingers. Delicious.
The staff here is usually pretty cool and on their game.  You might have to wait a bit for a table, depending what time of day it is. They have really great lunch specials.  Kitschy Fishing Decor thing going on. Fun! Epitome of a Chain but with Way better food.
