  The staff is friendly, the concierge lounge has good hors d'oeuvres, the location is convenient, the bed is the perfect mix of soft firmness, and the price is reasonable.  Yet, I give this hotel only 3 stars.  Why?  Because it looks and feels worn down and more akin to a Holiday Inn rather than a Marriott.  The hallways, the exterior, and the landscaping all scream for a makeover!  Still, I'll stay here on future visits.

  *NOTE* There are three Mariots in Fort Wayne.
  Two of them are located on West Washington.
  And this location on EAST Washington.

  I'm not sure what Tameka E.'s talking about, but this hotel is far from a Motel 6 or Motel 8. I loved it! The hotel is relatively new so everything is in pretty good condition. No mold. No stains.
  
  The only confusing thing is the layout. You have to walk around the hotel to access the elevator if you need to reach Floors 3-6. They also have multiple entrances, with the main lobby being the furtherest from the rooms. Other than that, everything is pretty good!
  
  - There's a business center for you to print documents.
  - Indoor pool. The outdoor pool is currently under construction.
  - HD flat TV.
  - Large bathroom with a large counter for easy access to makeup ;]
  - Free coffee in the morning as well as a Starbuck stands 24/7, which is $2-3 for a cup.
  - Free airport pick ups/drop offs.
  - 24/7 gym with mini TV for the cardio machines and a large HD one in the room.
  - Great service! The staff was very friendly and helpful!
  
  Tip: Call ahead for a taxi. There isnt a taxi stand and sometimes it takes as long as 30 min for a cab to come.

  This hotel looks like an old Motel 6 or Super 8, where they took down the signed and tacked up a "Marriott" sign.  I was very saddened, when I looked at this property.  However, you can't judge a book by its cover.  Its a full time hotel with a bellman, updated rooms (furniture, bedding, televisions, carpet), great room service (from an A+ restaurant), the hotel is just ugly!!  So, don't judge this book by its cover.  The indoor pool, and whirlpool were in great shape.  The staff was very pleasant, and accommodating.  And, its located right off the highway.
